"Julie was a very attentive host. She provided everything we needed and even cooked us breakfast! The house is perfect for a relaxing getaway mixed with plenty of activities to keep you occupied as well. The lake is only ten minutes away, the hot tub was amazing, and we got a lot of use out of the pickleball court. The host did stay on site in an RV. I am not sure if this is typical, but we barely noticed she was there. We had our privacy and came and went as we pleased. Another highlight for our group since we had football fans was that we could watch the games through the living room windows from the hot tub :) very clean, beautiful property with a very kind host."

"Judy left a voicemail so we knew exactly when we could check in and how to get there, etc. She was so friendly. She let us pet her goats and see the chickens and ducks and Todd the turkey. The silo is so spacious and beautiful inside. It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed! Great king-sized beds and 1 and 1/2 bathrooms for convenience. So quiet with a beautiful view and not far from Lake Mac and Ash Hollow. Would stay again in a heartbeat!"

"Everything was really good, clean and comfortable. No real complaints.The coffee pot was pretty dirty in the water container part, cleaned as best that could be done. It worked and we did use it! Just a suggestion to get a stainless steel one.Found dishes in the cupboards that were not clean. Not a big deal, we just cleaned them. Another 'suggestion', a dishwasher would do wonders.Not a complaint, because we totally enjoyed the place! very homey and comfortable!Thank you!"

"The host was accommodating and communicated well. The space worked well for our large family, and the kids enjoyed the outdoor space as well. The house was generally clean, but there were a few areas that could use some attention. Some things showed wear, like rust in the tubs that made us avoid taking baths, the tub faucet that was barely attached, and the grill was corroded and difficult to light. There were plenty of dishes, but I would have liked more large cookware and storage containers to prepare meals proportionate to the capacity of the house. Also things like pitchers to make lemonade, a pair of scissors, and a crock pot would have been helpful. Perhaps a small folding table and chairs would have allowed us all to eat together. These are ideas that would have made things a little easier, but we had a great experience overall, and enjoyed the beautiful lake view."

"This place is super close to the lake it is clean and the unit is easy to get to. We were thankful for a place to go cool off shower and make meals! It was windy and HOT the weekend we were at the lake. Sunsets on the balcony with a drink were amazing."

"Had a great time with an annual summer trip to the lake done every year with family. Ages ranged from 7-14 and adults. The kids and teens loved the property. Short drive 5 min to beach access through vans lakeview fishing camp access with only a 20 min drive to get to martins Bay Area. Very clean- no dishwasher but hopefully this could be added in the future. Great views with a clean outdoor eating space and large propane fire pit for s’mores. Would definitely recommend if visiting the lake for all occasions. Will definitely be back again."
