"Chose a room with a balcony as I like to sleep with fresh air. No screen door. I asked to be put in ANY room with screens. Sorry, we don't do screens. So my room populated up with flying insects. This tells me they do the minimum for customers. I checked, all the surrounding properties have screens. I will book with them next time. also, the wifi was terrible and TV was wonky."

"Fantastic stay! The host was extremely communicative and helpful during our stay. The home was exactly as pictured in the listing. While the main beach area of Santa Barbra can get pretty hectic, the backyard of the house provided us a peaceful get away. We frequently relaxed outside to the sounds of birds under the cool shade of the awning. The home was very clean and everything we needed was provided! Would come again soon!"

"A lovely, tranquil, immaculate home in a friendly, residential neighborhood. The furniture is new, from The Pottery Barn. The beds and linens were beautiful and comfortable. Typical of The Mesa, the property looks out over the ocean from a cliff. It is ocean front property but not on the sand. The backyard lawn and gardens were well kept and charming. There is a lovely, large fire pit, too. Everything is in good order and immaculate. A well cared for property close to everything you would need, like shopping. . Not far from The Douglas Preserve or Hendry’s Beach (leash-free dog beach). There is everything you would need but it is not a kitchen set up for extensive cooking or baking. There are many places to sit, eat or watch TV. The bathrooms are nice but not the house’s most notable feature. The reason to rent this house is for its situation on the cliff, above the ocean, its calm and comfortable furniture and extraordinary ocean views from the indoor space and the outdoor deck.I would take friends and family here again!Also, nestled in the neighborhood is a long, mostly wooden, set of stairs leading to the sand. It took me a while to climb back up them, though the younger ladies in our group seemed to climb them without needing to rest. Photos from that location, taken in early morning or sunset, were exquisite."

"This home was the perfect place for our annual sorority reunion. Enough space for us all 60 something gals to enjoy one another and have private space. The bedrooms are all on the ground floor, the common area upstairs is spacious enough for all 8 of us to gather and dine. The ocean views are very nice."

"This is the second time we have stayed out this home. We are frequent visitors to Santa Barbara and the location of this home is outstanding. Amenities and restaurants are about 5 minutes by car. The beach and Douglas Preserve are a 5 minute walk. This home has lovely and serene outdoor areas in both front and back. Beds comfortable and linens high quality. This home has the best fire pit and the best fireplace of any home we have ever rented. It is Both are gas and give off real warmth. This is a grown up house and I, think, a house best suited for adults. White rugs, white furniture and a silk covered head board all require extra caution. There is an additional required weekly cleaning fee which is not included in the price. There were also taxes that did not appear in the final VRBO “ guaranteed “ total. Neither of these things would deter me from returning to this home. And, it should not deter you. It is worth it."

"Great place for a couple traveling with a pet. Good and prompt communication with our host. Super location in a quiet walkable neighborhood, with easy access to town and more. Very comfortable bed and bedding. Would definitely stay again on a future visit to SB!"

"This was one of the most beautiful vacation rails I have ever stayed at. The space was wonderful. Utilized this rental for a strategic planning retreat for our company and it was the perfect space to both relax and hold meetings in the great room. The location offers extremely close distances to both the beach and State Street where we got to explore wonderful restaurants. Communication from the property host were efficient and extremely accommodating during our stay."
