Also any time we or anyone closed the doors, it was quite loud…. But ultimately we really enjoyed the place and it’s very convenient to gas, groceries, and beaches. And of course, the street noise is not the hotel’s fault. It’s just a heads up. The rooms that are higher up the hill are most likely much quieter, but we wanted a balcony and a sea view. Host very informative during our stay. Our third night was comfortable sleeping but earlier sleeping was difficult without air conditioning as advertised. Too hot. We were travelling between the Aegean islands and therefore relying on using the washing machine but despite being advertised there is no machine. Martine did offer to wash our clothes but I’d prefer to wash my own. There was no microwave as advertised. No essentials provided on arrival. We stayed out from morning until late evening so didn’t use the electric oven. You need to switch the control on in the consumer unit we discovered on departure. Nice little restaurants in the port and village.
