Holiday Club in Are is in a great outdoor location with breathtaking views of lakes and mountains. The facilities are good for families with a large fun indoor swimming area which has slides, water jets, jacuzzis and various pools to suit all ages. There is also a sauna world which is worth a visit if you like dry or steam saunas. The room was more than suitable for 2 adults and one child with a double sofa bed and twin beds. he views from our room were beautiful and we had a balcony which opened onto the grass and lake with volleyball court, football and other sports catered for in this area. There is a 10 pin bowling alley, crazy mini golf and countless water sports provided, including paddle boards and kayaks. The buffet restaurant, Grow, was really good with a wide variety of good food to cater for adults and kids. O’Learys Irish-American Bar was also a good place to eat and drink with the family. The staff were very friendly and catered well to our needs. The town centre is a short walk from the hotel with plenty of bars and restaurants to try. There’s plenty to do in the local area - waterfalls, mountain biking at the bike park, chocolate factory, museum, cable car to the top of Areskutan mountain and lots more.
