Staying at Woodhill house was like a step back in time. We stayed in the coach house, 17th century! We walked into the village for supper. And had a great evening. Breakfast the next morning was so well done.

Very nice accommodation in Ardara. Host John is very nice and helpful recommending local sights worth visiting and restaurants worth eating at. Nancy’s restaurant was my personal favorite. This my second stay in two years. I would recommend to fellow travelers.

Nice quiet country setting . Spotlessly clean. Nice big room , comfortable bed and large bathroom. Welcoming helpful host. Good breakfast. A short 10 minute walk to Ardara town. Does not offer lunch or dinner.

Had a great time in the lounge bar. Left my husband there until midnight drinking and telling stories with owner John. The walled garden is beautiful and the views just amazing. Our room was large and comfy with amazing views. Great hospitality.

Woodhill was a charming and comfortable place to stay despite being dated and in need of a bit of a makeover. The hotel breakfast was great and the location was fantastic with stunning views from our room. It was a pleasant 7 minute walk into the centre of Ardara where we had a great meal in Nancy's bar.

The breakfast menu was amazing and the bar offered a great selection of drinks. Our room was lovely. Very comfortable. There is a walled garden and historic out buildings. The property is very historic and it has a lot of charm. It has a great atmosphere. It was nice to talk to John at the bar and other guests. So friendly.

Woodhill House is a charming old manor house in a lovely little town. The room was spacious and clean and the area was very quiet. Breakfast was delicious, though they only start serving at 8:30am so plan accordingly. John was a very welcoming host and made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend Woodhill House if you are in the Ardara area.

We loved this little place. Beautiful setting just a short walk/drive to Ardara and a great starting point for exploring Donegal. Breakfast was great and the rooms were huge. We wouldnt hesitate to stay again!
