No one will be downstairs when you stay, so you will have your privacy throughout the whole stay. The mild temperatures were a welcome respite from the Sacramento heat! The house was clean, well stocked, and tastefully decorated. Our kids slept on the fold-out in the living room and the small bed in the loft just fine. The wi-fi was solid, which is nice because we had spotty reception in town. The town is right on the beach, and the house is a 3-minute walk to a couple restaurants and the beach. Aptos is very small, cute and quiet, and only 15 minutes from Santa Cruz. Clean and comfortable with a bonus loft! Winnie has thought of everything in the well stocked kitchen and even a bed and chew toy for the dog to enjoy! We felt so welcome here! The beds were comfortable , bathroom gorgeous, and fireplace heaters a cozy touch! The house is tucked into an amazingly quiet street next to a busy beach park. You can plan to cook or not, as there’s a nice restaurant, coffee and a convenience store nearby. No need to take the car anywhere! We took long walks in both directions down the beach and found nearly empty beaches. The water and waves are beautiful at Rio Del Mar! Sunsets a bonus!
