Since I was with friends who were staying at another hotel, I chose not to respond to her behavior as it deserved.** To make matters worse, when my friend came to the hotel looking for me, Alexandra stated that no guest by my name was staying there because, according to her, my name had been misspelled. The following day, I confirmed with the restaurant staff that my name was, in fact, correctly listed in the system. The manager, Tamas, who was professional and courteous, explained that this may have been due to a privacy policy. However, providing incorrect information to someone legitimately looking for a registered guest is unacceptable and caused unnecessary confusion. On a positive note, the restaurant staff provided excellent service, the food was very good, and the room itself was comfortable.
