"It was a very nice experience. The villa has value of money."

"This beautiful villa is a hidden gem. The little village is so gorgeous. The drive up through the olive orchard is stunning. We never tired of the view. The restaurant that it attached to the villa is literally at the front door. The food is amazing. Though breakfast is not available, it's a short drive to a nearby town that has several other dining options. The pool is small but private. We would definitely stay here again. "

"The Villa Aloni exceeded all our expectations in terms of quality and facilities. We were looking for somewhere in "hidden Crete" and this property in Maza gave us a sense of rural remoteness but with access to the national road (and easy drives to Hania and Rethymnon) in 5 minutes. The villa was excellently equipped with every modern convenience (except a dishwasher which might have been an asset for a larger party). Everything worked effectively and when the kettle broke, this was replaced...

"It was too cold for us to swim but we loved having it available The entire house was amazing, we were so happy here. We felt so peaceful, relaxed and well cared for here! Thank you Michael!"

"Very nice place with pool and a nice view."

"Great property. Wonderful host. The house was clean and as advertised. Conveniently located close to beaches and towns with restaurants. Would stay here again!"

"Very quiet location at the end of a steep hill. The villa is actually 1/2 of a duplex, but was still very quiet and private. The stonework is beautiful and the view is amazing. The villa has a private driveway (shared with the adjoining villa) with a secure electronic gate. Covered parking (open-ended garage) was a bonus to help keep the car cooler. The pool is beautiful, but not heated (at least it wasn’t during our visit). The washing machine on site was a bonus and there were adequate drying...

"Hier hat alles gepasst! Tolle, große Unterkunft, super freundliche Gastgeber, viel Ruhe, schöner Pool. Wir haben rein gar nichts zu beanstanden. Vielen Dank!"

"Such a beautiful place with perfect view."

"We had a wonderful stay. The place itself was spotless and even better than the photos — the view and the location to the beach were perfect. The hosts went far beyond what we expected, communication was seamless and they were genuinely helpful throughout our stay. We'd happily book again and recommend it to anyone visiting Marathi Beach."

"Great stay, very friendly and welcoming, the town has nothing to offer, hosts stocked the shelves with supplies!"

"Great location near a quieter end of the port, including a small sandy beach and restaurants. Walkable to city center. "
