"Hotel Maria Isabel in Ataco was such a cute, cozy family-owned stay. The hotel was small, peaceful, and had such a welcoming atmosphere. Our room and bathroom were both very clean, which we really appreciated. There was no AC and unfortunately the fan in our room didn’t work, so we had to keep the windows open at night. But honestly, the hospitality made up for it. The breakfast was SO good, and the man at the front desk — who I think may have been the owner — was the sweetest. He was funny, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again."

"There is so much to see! Every corner of this property is worth a picture. This is a locally owned boutique hotel. It is beyond amazing. Looks like it’s been here for 200+ years! The staff is great, owner is extremely friendly and humble. I’ll definitely be back."

"I had to book an extra day because the food from the restaurant made me sick. The staff thought I was overstaying and made lots of noise outside my room. The front desk finally agreed to not charge me for the portion of the meal that made me sick. The doorman laughed at me on the way out."
