Great Location

Stayed in the larger suite. Staff was friendly, breakfast great. View from patio was amazing. On the outer of Antigua which made it quieter. Would go back.

A hidden gem

Unprepossessing from the outside but delightful once through the doors. Comfotable and wonderfully peaceful this is a tastefully decorated hotel which makes you feel at home. As previous users have said, breakfast on the terrace is a delight and Francisco's mandarin marmalade is yummy.

The hotel is pretty and has a lovely rooftop terrace with a view of the volcanoes. The one thing that we didn't like is that the lighting in the bedroom and bathroom were too dim- impossible getting ready for a wedding we were in town for.

Great place for a family

Breakfast was delicious and filling, the rooms were very cool. The property was gorgeous. Location was far enough to be quiet, but close enough to access the main square in a 4 minute walk. We stayed with our 2 and 5 year old, and they loved the place. We would definitely stay here again.

Excelente un lugar muy bonito. Dos recomendaciones: 1. El tapete o pequeña alfombra está vieja y sucia, sería MUCHO MEJOR desecharla 2.Le falta una repintada a todos los muros, están sucios con huellas. El servicio y desayuno excelentes. Todos los empleados con mucha disposición y buen trato. Felicidades!!

Este es uno de los hoteles boutique más bellos de Antigua, tiene una excelente ubicación fuera del área de bullicio de antigua pero a tan solo tres cuadras del parque. Habitaciones con mucho detalle y una atención muy personalizada, les aconsejo el desayuno de la terraza tiene la mejor vista al volcán y está rodeado de cúpulas y muchas flores

Perfect for us

We really enjoyed out stay at Hotel Sor Juana. The size of the room we had was great and the staff went out of their way to make us happy. My wife was feeling ill one evening and not only did the night manager take the time to walk me to a local panaderia and help me order in spanish, he then made coffee and tea for my wife. We would go back to this hotel in an instant. Also, the breakfast you get in the morning was very good and cooked to order. I actually looked forward to the breakfasts as much as any other of the local foods we had. I'm not a culinary expert, but both my wife and I liked it!

Antigua hidden gem

We had an amazing 4-night stay at Sor Juana. The staff is friendly and attentive. The rooms we super comfortable and quiet, which is a treat right in Antigua! Breakfast on the rooftop terrace are delicious, topped with amazing volcano views. The terrace also hosts a fruit and herb garden. The hotel is located a few minutes away from all the shops and restaurants, yet it is really quiet. A treat while staying downtown Antigua. We will definitely stay there again!

Sweet place to stay

We loved this cozy hotel, it felt intimate like a home. Super comfortable beds, quiet, lovely decor. Wonderful breakfast on the terrace!! Big thanks to the staff, you took care of us! This was our 3rd time visiting Antigua and this is by far our favorite hotel.
