It is an ideal venue to escape the daily routine. Only a few kilometers further you find shops to supply you with the basic necessities. From the garden of this holiday home you have a great view of the mountains of El Torcal de Antequera. This is a well-known nature reserve and highland in Andalusia. Enjoy a siesta in the hammock after you tried the local food in one of the Vegas (restaurant in a farm. In the afternoon you can enjoy the shade of the olive trees. The house has two bedrooms. One with a double bed and a bathroom with a shower in suite and one with two single beds. There are other bathroom with a bath. Of course there is a living room and a kitchen. Outside there is a fenced pool with grape branches and trees that provide shadow. There is a barbecue awaiting you so you can prepare the best local food. At 10 minutes distance of the house you find the small village Pedania de La Higuera. In the region La Higuera you can go hiking, horse riding and cycling. At 20 minutes distance there also is a golf court. This is in the zone of the nature reserve El Torcal de Antequera. At 4 km distance there is the village Villaneuva de la Concepcion and at 12 km distance there is the centre of Antequera. The city of Antequera is situated at about 509 meters above sea-level. From Antequera you can visit places like La Vega, the marches of El Chorro and the nature reserve El Torcal de Antequera. In Antequera you find many monuments that remind of the history of Andalusia and date back from the Visigoths, the Romans and the Muslims. Next to this you will find many architectonic places of interest dating back from the Renaissance and the baroque. Here, you find for example the Dolmes of Menga, Viera and El Romeral, La Real Colegiata Santa Maria Mayor de San Sebastian, the interior of the Convento de Carmen and the Alcazaba. There is also a shopping mall with cinema. At 51 km distance you find the second city of Andalusia, named Malaga. The bathing site Nerja and her beaches are to be found at about 102 km, the natural reserve El Torcal de Antequera at 14 km, Laguna de Fuente de Piedra at 33 km, el Desfiladero de los Gaitanas at 31 km, the mountains of Malaga at 40 km and the airport of Malaga at 59 km. Antequera is the heart of Andalusia. It is a typical ´pueblo blanco´ a white village which Andalusia is known for. The big cities of Andalusia are easily reachable from Antequera. Granada is at 102 km, Cordoba at 115 km and Seville at 160 km. In order to visit the surrounding cities and villages you can use the bus, which goes regularly. At 17 km from the center there is a train station named Antequera – Santa Ana. Dank an die Besitzerin Maria (spricht nur spanisch), die uns in der Nacht aus dem "Nirgendwo" nach einem Telefonat mit einem Einheimischen, den wir nach dem Weg gefragt hatten, abgeholt hat. Kleiner Supermarkt in der Nähe, ansonsten ca. 1/2 Std. Autofahrt zur Tankstelle, Supermercado und Restaurants, etc. Kücheneinrichtung gerade aureichend (4 Messer, 6 Gabeln). Geschirr und Gläser "zusammengewürfelt"). Von anderen bisher gemieteten Ferienhäusern waren wir mehr gewohnt. Hundegebell der anderen Fincas am Abend störend, Flugzeuge waren tagsüber deutlich zu hören. Toller Pool (war leider zu unserer Reisezeit Anfang Oktober sehr kalt, trotz teilweise 30 Grad in der Sonne). Die Hunde fühlten sich super wohl Das Haus liegt ziemlich abgelegen, aber es war genau das, was wir gesucht hatten, es gibt einen Supermarkt 900 Meter entfernt und Antequera 30 Minuten entfernt. Der Pool hat die perfekte Größe, umgeben von Gras und mit wunderschöner Aussicht Der Grill befindet sich neben dem Pool mit natürlichem Schatten, sodass Sie die Kabine jederzeit genießen können, da es nicht heiß ist. Obwohl es von Natur umgeben war, gab es keine Insektenbefall Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich mit einer Küche mit Frühstückstheke und einem Wohnzimmer mit einem super bequemen Sofa, großen Schlafzimmern und einem sehr bequemen Bett. Es ist zu schätzen, dass es zwei komplette Badezimmer gibt.
