(1,460 reviews) We’ve been a repeat guests for Sejong. Really appreciate the hotel’s cleanliness and amenities. The room was clean, even housekeeping did a good job when we requested for our bed to be made. The only thing that didn’t change is the worker’s union protest, that seems on-going even before covid. Fortunately, they didn’t bother hotel guests but get a bit crowded when the protest at the lobby though. (330 reviews) I booked this property for three nights, but I ended up leaving after one night. I should have known when I saw it informed me to check in via a machine... The rooms are small. The bathrooms are small and awkward, with the sink outside of the bathroom. Yes, they will refresh towels and trash daily, but actual room cleaning is only once every three days. And the elevators are absolutely atrocious. I had to wait 15-20 minutes just to get an elevator. It was a mistake to stay here, and I won't do it again. (884 reviews) The hotel is quite old and run down. Walls, carpets, handrails, tiles, etc grimy and spot areas of mold in bathroom. Everything needs a good facelift. Having said that, everything works so nothing to complain about. If you don’t mind walking 10-15mins plus for the tourist areas such as myeongdong, namdaemun markets, Seoul station, department stores then it’s not such a bad centralised area. If you want something convenient and at ur doorstep then I probably wouldn’t recommend this place.
