For anyone who intends to have a party, disturb the neighborhood, or in any other way violate our house rules, we want to make clear that: We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us. We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule. Parking \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Located directly off W Huron Street on the north side, the concrete pad in-front of the house easily fits four cars in two tandem columns. We have installed signage for clarification but please feel free to message us with any questions! There is no street parking on W Huron Street. If you have more than four cars and need extra parking, street parking is available on Crest Ave, which is the street south of and perpendicular to W Huron Street. Pull them out from under the couch and raise up the extra mattress section from underneath the couch. Remove the couch pillows to make space for two! Extra Linens: Underneath the chaise section of the couch you will find four bath towels and four hand towels, four pillows, a comforter, and extra sets of sheets and pillowcases for the couch and air mattress. House Rules \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ We love hosting folks, so we want to be as respectful as possible to our wonderful neighbors. Since we’re in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules: \- No parties & no overnight guests without prior approval. If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know. \- Respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm. \- Please leave your shoes at the door. \- No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies. \- No smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky. \- If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair. \- Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.
