Parking for two on the premises. It's partially a "basement" with one side built into the side of the hill it's on and one side looking out over a ravine (so bear in mind later in the evening it can get a little dim but we have plenty of light inside to make up for it!). It's got everything you need in a small package, and the perfect spot for any getaway! Once inside, the door will be located on the right down a set of 4 steps. The ground floor has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom along with the living room and the kitchen. For anyone who intends to have a party, disturb the neighborhood, or in any other way violate our house rules, we want to make clear that: We have a zero-tolerance policy for this. We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us. We have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule. Parking \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Located directly off W Huron Street, this unit’s space in our driveway fits two cars in tandem. Please park on the left-hand side of the driveway directly next to the house as the right-hand side is for the top-floor unit. We have installed signage for clarification but please feel free to message us with any questions! There is no street parking on W Huron Street. If you have more than two cars and need extra parking, street parking is available on Crest Ave, which is the street south of and perpendicular to W Huron Street. Extra Linens: Underneath the chaise section of the couch you will find four bath towels and four hand towels, four pillows, a comforter, and extra sets of sheets and pillowcases for the couch and air mattress. Since we’re in a quiet neighborhood, we do ask that you follow a few easy rules: \- No parties & no overnight guests without prior approval. If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know. \- Respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm. \- Please leave your shoes at the door. \- No pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies. \- No smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans. They get stinky. \- If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair. \- Do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests. The location is pretty wonderful - near enough to campus, stores and Zingerman's Road House. The house was clean. The beds are really comfortable. There are plates, cups, pots and pans available for use and a Keurig machine. This is purely a rental unit - there aren't any condiments or spices, so if you plan to cook, shop accordingly. There is a couch and small TV in the living room and bench seating in the dining area. We definitely had all the space we needed. Nice shower and loved the empty shelves in the bathroom so we could set up all our things while we were there to give us that home away from home feel. We had just about everything we needed. The parking is a bit tricky. There isn't a lot of space and with two units and a few cars, it can be hard to get in and out of. That part was a bit stressful, but by the end of the trip, we figured out that backing into our space relieved the stress of trying to back out onto a busy street. We had a tiny problem with cars parked in the driveway when we first arrived, but with a quick text to the property manager the situation with the guests staying upstairs (who were very sweet) was resolved quickly and without issue. All in all, this is a lovely property. We felt very safe and secure and instructions were simple and helpful. We'd definitely consider staying at the Beautiful Bungalow on our next visit to lovely Ann Arbor. ##### Patty R. The place was very cozy, clean and inviting. The beds were very comfortable. The other nice thing was the location was 3 minute drive to downtown and campus. Wish the weather was nicer but March is so up and down. I really liked the digital combo lock to get into the building and apartment. So no keys to worry about. Also had no issues during the stay. Found this apartment online after a few days in a hotel with our 9 month old. What a relief! Very clean, well kept and equipped apartment. My Aunt stayed with me to help with the baby while I visited my mom at the hospital. It was the perfect place. Only a few minutes from the hospital and in a quiet safe feeling neighborhood.
