"The property was good beds comfy we were there to catch-up with friends so only really used it to sleep in . "Rooms were nice and clean with a nice feel of new and old bits and pieces which we liked. Staff (Calum) family run hotel was lovely very helpful on any knowledge about Callander what to do and see and always had time for a blether. Breakfast was lovely and tasty both mornings, nothing was a problem and went that extra mile to make the stay a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back. 3 Adults in adjoining rooms."

"A beautiful property with stunning grounds. Roaring fire to welcome you. Inviting lounges and quaint bar with rustic features and lovely decor. Our gorgeous room featured an exceptionally comfortable extra-large bed, with high-quality linen and towels, and thoughtful luxury touches throughout. The dog-friendly amenities, included a fluffy bed, a chew and paw towel all of which were appreciated, and our ground-floor room offered direct garden access. The brasserie restaurant on the grounds had a very good menu choice and the food there was excellent and hotel breakfast was also superb. All of the staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. A lovely hotel we would happily return, highly recommended!"

"Hotel was excellent value for money being in the centre of the town. Staff were very accommodating. I was traveling on my bike and they accommodated storing it securely overnight. The best bit about the hotel is the evening food. They have a very good chef, and a decent menu. The food presentation is very good and tastes excellent. I had the balmoral chicken one night and the slow cooked beef the second night. Both were excellent. It is far better than the surrounding eating restaurants that offer basic burger and chips."
