This is a very lovely apartment with peek-a-boo views of the river. My pup and I had a wonderful stay. Bed was comfy and place was very clean. Wonderful screened in porch for morning coffee. The main home and other cottage was rented by a party that let us know we were not welcome to enjoy the back yard and riverside space, so we stayed away and enjoyed the river view from the living room window. Hopefully the next guests get to enjoy the river and the dock. I would def stay here again!

Relax and recharge

Once a year my family gets together for a family reunion at a ranch in Cottonwood. The reunion is filled with a ton of family activities, swimming, and the occasional all day lake trip to Whiskeytown. Leaving the party each night to return home to this little cottage was nothing less than the title suggests

Private Bungalow beside the river

From the moment I walked in I felt "at Home" Perfect size place which is detached from the main home but is attached to a rarely used garage. As I looked out the living room window. Through the trees I saw something running right through the yard... It was moving fast and had as the sun hit this strange sight it glistened beautifully. Still puzzled as to what it was I walked just through the gate and onto the gorgeous grean grass...then I spotted a fishing boat on top of this moving mass of.... Ahhhh its a river actually the Sacramento River. A sight rarely seen in my part of Arizona! LOL All kidding aside it was gorgeous! Also there is a screened in porch. Enjoy
