My daughter and I love to ice skate when coming through Anchorage and Westchester is a great spot to do that. The house was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. The beds were comfortable and cozy. The kitchen had a blender (not super common in rentals), some spices, and a keurig coffee maker. The only complaint I have is that noise from the neighbor (this until is a side by side duplex) could be heard pretty easily. The home was perfect for me and my fiancé and would be great for two couples traveling together as the space is quite large! Lots of room for 5 adults. Very close drive to downtown Anchorage or surrounding sites. Great kitchen to cook in. Very clean. Just a warning - lol...extra room has sky lights so during the summer if you can only sleep in the dark, not a room for you. This did not bother us - we were always very tired at the end of the day. The two downstairs room had dark out curtains which the rest of the family liked! A short walk to the lagoon which has a nice walking trail and lots of birds/ducks to view. This was a big home. Plenty of space. Clean. Felt like home. Everything you need and more. In, what appears to be, a good neighborhood of older homes all being renovated and lots of curb appeal all around this area. We loved just walking the streets and seeing all the things people were doing to their homes. Only a block away is a park that my kids loved to play at. And we took several walks on the coastal trail right by this park. We would have loved to stay here longer.
