The views were unbelievable, with both water and mountains. In the course of the stay, we saw moose and a bear family on the mountain. The family saint Bernard was also such a welcome addition! There was plenty of expansion room inside and outside on the spacious adjoining deck so there wasn't a sense of being crowded. The view of Cook Inlet and the mountains beyond was spectacular and the location gave a certain feel of Alaska. We were surprised however to learn on arrival that a family of four occupy the lower level which together with their visitors created a periodic parking squeeze. There was plenty of room and it was very nice for us. The views are amazing. We had originally booked the entire week and then shortened to a couple days to stay in other towns.
