Charming Cabin Duplex in the Heart of Girdwood

Summary:

This charming cabin has two separate set-ups: perfect for two families or friends vacationing together. The upstairs has three bedrooms and the downstairs has two bedrooms. Each has a living space, kitchen, basic amenities, a washer dryer and separate keyed access.



There is structured soundproofing between floors, a lovely upstairs deck, and a fenced back yard. This home is in a residential neighborhood road .2 miles from Alyeska ski lifts and near local food, shops, hiking and the bike path.



The Space:

This home has an old-time Girdwood cabin feel - charming and comfortable. The upstairs living area has three rooms: two with queen beds and one with two full beds. The downstairs has two bedrooms, one with a queen and one with a full bed. Both living spaces have a full bathroom, kitchen with basics, a living room with seating, a dining table, and a washer-dryer.



There is plenty of parking, a fenced back yard, and a lovely deck.



The location is right off the bike path, offering easy walking or biking to local hiking trails, festivals, and Girdwood's restaurants and shops. It is a residential neighborhood about .2 miles from ski lifts (and summer hiking).



In the summer, when mud season is over, we will allow dogs as long as they are house trained and will not damage any property. The pet fee is $75. We will clean well in between guests and have periodic carpet cleaning. But folks should know the cabin does have dogs stay sometimes.



Please note: The bottom part of the rental will be new - so we do not yet have pictures of it. The pictures are of the upstairs. The bottom unit will have the same feel and look, and pictures will be available by June 1. You'll notice we will be fixing a door downstairs too :-)
