The open floor plan worked well for a large group as people could be in the kitchen, at the table, or lounging in the living room but still be part of the group. I could see how the lofted space would have be a nice if we had any kids with us. The only downside of the open floor plan and loft was that those talking at a normal volume on the second floor could be heard clear as day on the first floor. ##### Kristin C. I was a little nervous to rent a new property but my goodness were we in for a lovely surprise. For two weeks, colleagues and I stayed in this home while attending exhausting meetings downtown. We called this place our sanctuary and for good reason: comfortable rooms and common areas, dreamy creekside location and easy access to and from downtown.
