A perfect spot to get away from it all and be immersed in nature. Located at the end of the Queen Charlotte Track & on the Link Pathway for amazing walks and bike rides, adjacent to the Anakiwa jetty and community swim platform by the sandy beach. You'll enjoy being surrounded by nature-native birds a plenty and gorgeous night skies perfect for star gazing. Close to the Cook Strait ferry terminals and quaint seaside town of Picton are a 30 min drive and Marlborough's famous vineyards are just a 50 minute journey. Accommodation was cute and had everything needed. Literally on the doorstep of Queen Charlotte Track. Tanya and Shane were utterly incredible and kind, and we really enjoyed the both of them. We stayed to be able to ride our bikes on the Queen Charlotte Track and surrounding area, and I thought it was the perfect spot, especially with there being a bike wash on property. The stay was quiet and peaceful when we desired it to be, but also alive when we wanted to go biking or out and about. Both Tanya and Shane went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had all the local knowledge we needed. We enjoyed an extended talk with Tanya, and we really enjoyed her.
