We also enjoyed a few local specialty restaurants nearby and found a smokehouse near Karlstad.The canoe enabled us to explore the lake shore especially when conditions are fairly calm heading to Gräsmark and sandy beaches.Our stay met our expectations and exceeded them in many instances."
