Pretty good hotel near zoo and water parks
It is a bit tough to give fair reviews these days, because of the unusual sitation with the Corona virus. The room was very clean, but I was not a big fan of the dining area, it was very simple. The bar area seemed pretty nice, but I chose not to spend any time in there, since it was very full (despite Corona). The location seems to be near a zoo, and some thermal baths, and in general seems to be quite touristy, (French tourists). Staff was friendly though, and in general, I can reccomend the hotel.

The hotel room was spacious and clean and quiet considering the location, even though we stayed there on a Friday evening. There is also a bar that had good cocktails and a nice atmosphere. The only downside was the parking that was full, mostly because of people coming to the bar and not so much because of the hotel guests, but we did find a parking spot in the end.

Really liked having a balcony for the evening! No restaurant service however there were some near by (not higher end). Suited our needs for the one evening stay.

it is a nice and spacious hotel which is close to everything be it the zoo or the aquarium or places to eat. The staff is very friendly and nice. This was my second stay in this hotel and I liked it. Will come back to stay

Room ok for 1 overnight stay only - a dodgy area!
Ok hotel & reception staff were pleasant. Breakfast room lady was not! Girl in the bar was nice too. Room tired & dated and area was not too good with groups of young men hanging around and a couple of them hanging around the car park at night so didn’t feel very secure

A pleasant overnight stop over
Only stayed for 1 night but good value for money. I guess it would be worthwhile having a few nights in the area as there seemed lots to do. The hotel was smart and the check in and out was quick and easy. Nice little balcony and air con was welcome. A nice touch was a kettle and tea/coffee. We arrived after 10pm and the bar was open: very pricey but ok. Breakfast was not too plentiful and again pricey but overall it was a pleasant stay

This hotel was fine in a area with casino, zoo, cinema, ice skating, restaurants etc. but no shopping. Will book a hotel in Thioville instead, if I am going to this area again.

Good location for Galaxie Arena
My friend and I wanted to be close to the Galaxie Arena for a concert and were delighted to find it was easy walking distance and also near several other activities e.g. swimming pool, bowling and ice-skating. We loved the skating. The Hotel Marso is clean and nicely decorated, The bar is very good. Continental breakfast was OK but a bit expensive at 13 Euros. On the downside, we were expecting a twin room but had to share a double bed (luckily we are good friends and it wasn't a huge problem) and there was only one plug socket so we could only charge phones etc singly and the wi-fi was really useless. The staff were nice and helpful. Overall it was very good for what we paid and I would definitely stay there again but would not bother to take my laptop.

Nous venons dans cet hôtel 2 fois par an et nous ne changerons pas. Hôtesses très agréables et serviables. L'hôtel se situe à maximum 10 min du galaxie et des nombreux restaurants fast-foods. On peut s'y rendre à pied (réel avantage).

1. La porte de ma chambre ne s'ouvre pas. Obligée de redescendre à l'accueil avec toutes mes affaires : on m'avait donné une carte à insérer et non sans contact. 2. Il est écrit qu'il y a un restaurant, c'est faux. 3. J'ai froid, on est en janvier. Je m'aperçois que derrière le rideau, la fenêtre est entreouverte. J'essaie donc de réchauffer la pièce en mettant le chauffage. Ce dernier ne chauffe pas, il souffle uniquement de l'air a température ambiante. Et bien-sûr, pas de couverture supplémentaire donc j'ai eu froid toute la nuit. 4. Je prends ma douche. J'ai de l'eau chaude, puis tiède, puis brûlante puis glacée. Je sors. 5. Je m'installe dans le lit, qui présente des tâches (même si les draps ont l'air d'être lavés), et là je m'aperçois que ce n'est pas un grand matelas mais deux petits (oubliez le confort). 6. Insonorisation vers l'extérieur inexistante et à l'intérieur, quand un voisin de chambre ferme sa porte, tout vibre dans la vôtre. 7. Je vais au petit-déjeuner en passant par l'escalier. Les murs sont recouverts de moisissure. 8. Les œufs brouillés ressemblent à une omelette sans assaisonnement, mais il y a quand même un choix variés sucré salé. 9. L'heure du départ, on me demande si tout s'est bien passé. Je réponds que non, on ne me demande même pas pourquoi. Enfin, l'hôtesse ne peut imprimer ma facture, elle me l'envoie par mail, avec une mise en page rendant illisible la facture. Obligée de redemander une facture par mail. Bref, une cata du début à la fin.

Ensemble convenable sauf probleme de pression d'eau en voulant prendre ma douche. La moquette taché a plusieurs endroits. Et le chauffage pas évident a réglé donc j'ai eut froid toute la nuit. (Pas de couverture a disposition dans la chambre) sinon beau balcon et accès direct au bar softy et tout les restaurants au alentours. Petit déjeuner variés et de qualité. Personnels tres aimables et souriants.

In die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, aber saubere Zimmer und bequemes Bett, sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal, nette Bar, ruhige Lage (zum Schlafen). Zimmer sind klein, Balkon sehr groß, Frühstück preislich teuer, aber reichhaltig und schmackhaft. Eignet sich auf jeden Fall für einen kurzen Urlaub, in dem man sich die meiste Zeit draußen mit den vielen Aktivitätsmöglichkeiten (alles zusätzlich zahlbar) beschäftigt.
