The place is really good, clean, nice staff and cozy. The Area is mainly residential and it has almost no shops and no places to eat in a walking distance. Though, a 35 minutes walk can get you to City Mall, Macca Mall and many other shops and restaurants.

Very good stay. Clean room and great service. Missed breakfast and they brought me complimentary breakfast to my room. Not the fanciest hotel in Amman, but the wonderful staff make you feel at home.

The worst experience
First they give us a miserable room for two people you can’t even move in it Then they chnged for us but that ruin the day I booked a non smoking room but they don’t have any at the hotel They should label that hotel as a smoking hotel Everywhere you go you see people smoking from the entrance to every single room in it They even offer shisha (argilaa) in the rooms Smoking people would love that But people like me will be deceived The room level of cleanliness is horrible The carpet .restroom ,shower,bed covers ,sheets are filthy . They ruin the first days of my stay until I moved to another one Since I trust hotels .com I think I need compensation for that as their loyal customer

I am an American but my husband is Palestinian I booked a room for 2 but they didn't even let my husband come up to the room for 5 minutes I was begging for over 2 hours and all this time I was waiting for the super busy manager that never showed up anyway never again room wasn't comfortable at all and old and please take your shampoo and everything you need with you they don't have it

Average stay at Larsa, could have been better
Room 408 had a damaged window lock so it didn't close fully, so can't avoid hearing street noise. Had to turn on AC to drown out noise. Then the smell of smoke became worse with the AC on. We should've asked for smoke-free room. (Not even sure if they have any.) The phone line wasn't hooked up. There were no bathroom amenities. Not sure if we had to ask for those? Thankfully we had our own and stayed 2 nights only. Didn't use other facilities. But the breakfast was good, with plenty of local selections. Staff attentive and helpful.

Convenient to get to from airport, then to Petra
A decent hotel with basic facilities and OK for the price you pay. Only there for one night before moving on to Petra. Recommended by the travel agency because the hotel is outside of downtown Amman, so it is easier to get to from the airport without having to go through the madness of Amman's traffic jam downtown. Similarly easy from the hotel to the high way that leads to Petra. So if time is of the essence for you (it was for me, as I was there only for 2 days to see much of Jordan), I'd recommend the place. If you plan to stay in Amman city for a few days, perhaps you could do better with a hotel in the downtown. Although they do offer free transport to some malls nearby. Free breakfast was reasonable.

Disappointed this time around
Normally, I am a satisfied customer at Larsa, but this time around anything that could go wrong went wrong and I did not get much support from the management staff. I was double charged for the room because of a faulty telephone line to process the credit card and after repeated attempts to resolve this matter and to remove one of the charges, I was told to deal with the issue with the credit card processing company and my bank and it's still hanging. Also, both soap dispensers in my room empty for a day and 1/2 of my 2 day stay. I had to remind them several times to come and fill it. Also, I reserved a king size bed and paid extra for this. The room I received was a king, but within 1 hr I was hearing several voices from the walls and vents. I heard a very loud preacher preaching, I heard a singer singing, I heard people talking loudly etc...They moved me to a double bed room which was quieter and cheaper, but I didn't get the cheaper price. The buffet breakfast was good as usual. Based on this experience, I can no longer recommend Larsa to any of my family, friends and tour operators. Very disappointed and once they learn more about customer service then I will return.

Good value hotel in nice area
Nice, large room with big windows and good bathroom and shower. Small fridge and living room in some rooms makes it nice. Easily accessed from Amman Airport and located on the west side of Amman, so easy to depart in the morning if going to the King Hussein - Allenby Bridge border crossing to West Bank, Palestine - Israel.

I booked with breakfast included. I was surprised that breakfast not included. The hotel receptionist claimed that this what I booked. When I asked him to check my booking he could not find my booking papers to confirm his claim or otherwise. I was very upset and waisted valuable time waiting at the reception without a proper answer and had to leave for my flight. :(

Nice services all around!
We all loved it, especially with English speaking tour guide to take us everywhere and even to Petra! Mohammad is so good and well liked that we called him back to pick us up in Petra after a couple nights of stay!

I had a satisfactory stay at Larsa. The room and facilities were clean and well-kept. But I suspect there are many such hotels in Amman. Also, there is not much to do around the hotel, and transportation in Amman is not the best.

Staff very helpful especially Ashrat, Hilal, Wesam and Khalat--really everyone was friendly and helpful--facilities were fine--room was good for the amount paid--carpet needed cleaning--the first room I was given smelled strongly of mildew in the bathroom--I was given the room next to it--however the new tenants of my vacated room were very loud during the night--I complained to the staff and they took care of it. Breakfast was good. Hotels in Amman right now are having a very difficult time with the drop in tourists etc--so hotels like this one are having their own problems--but I would stay there again--but it is not a 4 or 5 star hotel but then doesn't pretend to be--I would stay there again
