Art Hotel is in the middle of downtown and close to most of the major sites. Management do very well to try and accommodate guests and we've been very pleased with the hospitality we've been shown. Its also very close to restaurants, shopping and other conveniences

Start of an Intrepid adventure
Great location. Easy walking to Citadel and Rsinbow Street. Across the road from Hashem Restaurant. Great shopping area. Rooms are large. Great air conditioner. Bathroom is very old with stained tiles. Shower sprayed the bathroom. Really really noisy with constant car horns.

Breakfast was appalling. No power so there was no hot water for coffee. No explanation or apology from the staff there. Yet the staff at reception were drinking coffees they had gone out for themselves. Finally one of the guests asked for coffees for us and one of them went and got us some. Good location though and other than the breakfast it was ok

Generally all downtown hotels are run down
I chose to stay in this hotel in the downtown area because I wanted to checkout the local restaurants and close to the Roman Theater and the citadel. But I’m disappointed for the condition and the noise. I believe most of the hotels in downtown are generally run down and bad. For the same price range you can stay a bit further in Abdali side. Although the manager was very accommodating me to change room due to the street noise. The cars here honk constantly because there are no marking lanes on the road and you can imagine the rest.

I agree with you that we are in the heart of downtown where daily life is always active. As you recognized that all our street rooms are installed with double glazed windows, which minimize the street noise to tiny level. You can find prices similar to ours in Abdali area or another area in Amman, but for sure far from the active daily life of the city which many guests look for to enrich their experience of Amman. The staff is wonderful and helpful and the decor is cool. Location very convenient for exploring downtown sights like Amphitheater and Citadel. The breakfast in the morning is not good, however, and needs to be improved.

Samir and his staff were amazing, helpful and attentive. We would highly recommend this hotel. Perfect location between the Citadel and Rainbow St. Clean, spacious, and modern room. Samir went out of his way to make sure our stay was comfortable.

Great hotel with fantastic staff!
LOVE the staff at the Art Hotel. They are so friendly and accomodating. We were given a map with all the important sites marked, so that we could make the best of our limited time in Amman. Make sure you eat at Hashem, the food is divine.

Great stay. Most friendly staff.
The Art Hotel is centrally located downtown, walking distance to all the main sights and local favorites - Citadel, Roman Theater, Hashem Restaurant. The hotel is modern and very comfortable and clean. The best part is the staff. They are always friendly and can help you out with day trips. I would love to return to Amman and stay at the Art Hotel again.

Simple hotel close to Citadel
Fine for a few nights stay. Not many amenities in hotel, but there is a basic restaurant (didn't try it). Room was clean, bed was comfortable except it had a foam topper on it that was not attached to anything and kind of slid around during the night. Talking to others in group, seems they all had this. Very close to decent restaurant options and to historic sites.

Fully satisfied by all means. Mr. Samir is the front disk manager provides all kinds of help and needed information. I truly felt very friendly atmosphere like home during my stay. Dining was excellent varieties everyday.

Airport pickup service which was very helpful.
The location and the room were nice. We utilized their airport pickup service which was very helpful. We were charged for an extra night stay rather than early check-in. All the staff were very helpful and friendly especially Front desk person Moustafa.

This was our second stay at the hotel in Amman. The location is excellent, the beds and rooms are comfortable. It was cold but they had no hair dryers.

This hotel is basic but clean. The showers were underpowered but ok. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast seemed to Running 5 minutes late. Will be there soon. out Before the allotted hour. Great location.

Very good hotel. Great value for money. Very clean rooms. Good restaurants opposite hotel and free breakfast is a bonus. I was very happy with my stay. Location also perfect.

Disappointed with cleanliness
The location is centrally located and very closed to restaurants. The bed was very uncomfortable with two different layers of mattress. The top layer was meant to be a memory foam but it wasn't and it foam mover if your body moved. The sheet was very disgusting - same as the bathroom.

Enjoyed our 2 week stay
Brilliant location at the very centre of downtown. All staff were friendly and polite. Rooms were large with high ceilings and great artwork. We stayed almost 2 weeks - a great base for exploring both Amman and Jordan. Very much recommended.

The hotel manager was very very rude
I was meeting a friend for lunch just down the street. As we started to walk around it began to rain so we were just going to go to the room. The hotel manager refused to allow my guest to come to my room. I didn't see anything on the site when I booked the room but then they informed when when I arrived. This is absolutely ridiculous. My guest wasn't staying the night and it was mid afternoon. Not only did he refuse to allow my guest upstairs, he was extremely rude in the way that he was asking me who this person was and why they needed to go to my room. It was all extremely unprofessional and rude. I do not recommend anyone staying at this hotel and will certainly NEVER spend my money here again.

Myself and my staff were glad to host you with us, I personally was happy to meet with you in person and talk to you, as well to give you part of my experience in order to discover the city of Amman. We always make sure to guarantee the comfort and joy of our guests, as well we have rules to maximize the experience of stay at ART Downtown, we usually hand A4 paper to all our guests and ask them to read it in order to make the stay the best, this is exactly what happened with you, and one of the main points is "guests are not allowed in the rooms". We officially register all our guests "as passport copy" before they go to their rooms which is important to keep the safety and security for all, we need our guests to feel comfortable and at home too, I remember the case of your guest, as he was not registered or known to us, as well you and he refused to register his ID at our front desk, that was unacceptable to break the rules of our hotel according to the paper you were already handed when you checked in. Great location for tourists.
Room was comfortable and clean. Parking available behind the hotel in an extremely congested area. The Christmas decor and music was a welcome feature, after having come from Saudi Arabia.

Not too many choices in Amman
The Art Hotel is a very nice hotel for the local standards. If you are traveling from the USA or Europe do not expect anything near what you know from your country. The hotel is safe, centrally located and you do get what you pay.

Great staff, decent room, good location
The hotel is located in a very convenient place in Downtown Amman. You can visit the citadel and roman amphitheatre by foot. The staff is super helpful in guiding and arranging trips for you. The wifi is a bit weak though. Breakfast is good.

Friendly staff and excellent location
Friendly reception folks, spacious rooms, hot showers and strong wifi signal! Breakfast was also good. The room could have used a new coat of paint, a bit of traffic noise even in the back of the building, and better tv instructions would have been good...but overall a great stay in an excellent location!

Excellent downtown location.
