You have to climb into an old rickety bath tub to have a shower and the tap is at the other end. Unless this place was the only available hotel in an emergency I'd probably not go back. The place was so overcrowded, with a cruise ship parked out front. Our hotel room had black mold in it and construction fencing and vehicles partially blocked our view of the beach. The walls were paper thin and we were kept up late and woken early by the sounds of other families talking (they weren't even being inconsiderate, the rooms were just so badly soundproofed). The layout of the resort was baffling, with glass perimeter fencing around lawns and cafes to prevent people from freely walking around. My four-year-old asked if we were at the airport when we were in the resort's main building, which gives you a sense of the design. The worst part was the food, which was borderline inedible. Everything was pre-packaged, deep fried in old oil, cooked from frozen (or all of the above). The prices were higher than a nice restaurant but the quality was worse than a service station. I realise this is an island and food needs to be brought in, but I have travelled to far more remote areas with nice things to eat, and the food here was inexcusable.
