Excellent hotel, value for money and staff are very helpful and accommodating at your requests. Spa facilities and breakfast was the real highlight, delicious and relaxing. If I could 6 stars I would !

We stayed for 2 nights while travelling. The property is unique, clean, quiet and Lucibella is a perfect host. Breakfast is buffet style with the option of cooking for yourself. We really enjoyed our experience here and would stay again

We had a wonderful relaxing week at Vale da Lapa in April with our two young sons. The villa was spacious, well equipped and cleaned every day if you want it to be. The swimming pools are great and the boys loved them. It was quite quiet the week we were there, so we often had them to ourselves. We also used the spa facilities and these were great too. Fantastic setting, built into the cliff face. Probably the best views in the whole of The Algarve! Wonderful rooms with extraordinary views out over the sea. Amazing breakfasts, great food and drink during the day. Great staff who treat you like one of the family.

We loved this resort. Set in lovely grounds with excellent facilities, we stayed in a two bedroom apartment which was immaculately clean and had everything you needed. The resort was very quiet and most mornings we had sole use of the gym. We opted for the breakfast buffet which provided an excellent spread of food with both hot and cold options. We would definitely go back again in the future

We are a family of 4 and booked a garden view apartment. We cooked in the apartment which is very well equipped. The hotel is in a beautiful setting in a cliff over an amazing beach which is a 5 minute walk. There is a bar by the pool serving all sorts of food. Lagos is a 50 minute walk through the scenic route passing Ponta da Piedade/Praia do Camilo/Praia de Dona Ana, some of the “must see sites” in Algarve. Accessibility - The hotel property is fully wheelchair accessible, however may be difficult for a wheelchair user travelling solo as the ramps are really quite steep, some doors are not automatic and the entrance doesn’t have a lowered kerb nearby, however if you go to the right of the entrance there is a lowered kerb at the garage. We enjoyed staying in an apartment on the 24th floor with amazing ocean views. Very clean and had everything we needed to cook meals in - home away from home style. Surprisingly, considering the hotel was fully booked with families (July booking) it was very quiet and calm. The housekeeping staff and receptionists were very helpful. This hotel is a gem. We have been going there for years and shall be returning again. As soon as you step in this place, you enter a haven of tranquility and peacefulness. Suitable for small family units with young children. Sounds snooty to say but no riffraff here- everyone is well turned out in tailored shorts/summer dresses etc. Not many tats, football tops, or larger drinking 'here mate' riffraff. The parents appear middle class hard working- podgy dads with trophy wives and the kids are called Emily, charlotte, Henry, Sebastian etc. (I laughed at the pool). Was costly, but then you pay for quality and this facility has all you need for a great family holiday...

Overall it was good stay with good apartment/restaurants/swimming pool. Staff was also very attentive and we had good stay.

Clean room, comfy beds, felt like a basic hotel. Nice staff. Amazing breakfast at the bakery next door! Overall good value for money. Rogil had limited dinner variety options but was right on trail for Rota Vincentina hikers.

Beautiful hotel — we honestly couldn’t fault our stay. Everything was stunning, and we would definitely return. We’d also love to visit some of the other W Hotels around the world in the future. Highly recommend! ❤️✨

Great hotel, check in was simple, rooms quite large and airey. Stayed for three nights and had a wonderful stay. Hotel also offers free wifi In reception area.
