This motel deserves its high rating. At this price point I was skeptical, but it was a wonderful little place!. Great room, very accommodating staff, parking right outside your door. It had everything you need and lots of restaurants and shops very close enough to walk. Typically a motel this affordable is sketchy, but not the Wye. It was very nice!

The rooms are old. The carpet is worn/stained in spots, however, the room was clean, the heat worked perfectly, the bed was fairly comfortable , and the shower had hot water and decent pressure. The value/cost was fantastic, inexpensive, and the office staff was helpful. I would stay again

Everything was very nice. Rooms were well maintained and clean, and staff was very nice and friendly. Anyone looking for a night or two I'd highly recommend if your in the area.

Was clean and not expensive. No friils but the bed was fine and the water was hot. All I needed to get some rest after a long day.

Conflicting information on reservation screen did not clarify that office was closed at 11 PM and no one was available to check customers in thereafter. Phone call to front desk immediately disconnected. Could not check in, no arrangements were offered. Still got billed.

Excellent CLEAN pet friendly hotel. Adorably vintage. Staff was kind and friendly, rates were affordable, and the atmosphere was nice and quiet. Cat approved.

We were pleasantly surprised about how nice (for the age of the property) this motel was. The room was clean and spacious, the water pressure was totally impressive and overall a great value for the money. Already thinking about booking it again for next years PSU White Out game!!

This is our second stay. The owners are very nice and conscientious. The area in front with the gazebo is a nice place to do the pet walking. Well-maintained.

Clean, spacious. I had trouble getting the door unlocked late at night and had no way to get help. Fortunately it finally opened for me with a good push. It was scary though and a helpless feeling.

Our little get away!
We stayed here over night. But when I went in to check in the man that waited on me wasn't very nice and not a friendly man at all. I did notice that when I went in to pay for my room. I have never came across a person like that. He should not work with people acting like that I don't think so anyway. We did like the motel and room. Very nice clean and very roomy. But we will never come back if that man is still working there!! Mrs. Goudy. Thank you.

Squeaky Clean and Budget Friendly
Always super clean even though older hotel. We keep booking here due to rooms are so clean and location to daughters college nearby. Every room has fridge & microwave too. Only negative are the pillows are kinda flat and need upgraded.

When we walked into our room you could smell how clean it was. The place is dated but the price was extremely reasonable for the area. You may want to bring your own pillow as theirs are very tiny. Coffee is only available in the main office.

The lady at the front desk for check in was very pleasant. Our room was a little dated but that didnt bother us at all. Our room was really clean, the Tv and refrigerator worked, beds were really comfortable and the room smelled clean. Will definitely stay here again.
