"I am writing to share feedback regarding my recent stay at the Nittany Lion Inn. While I truly appreciated the overall beauty and aesthetic of the hotel, my experience unfortunately fell short of expectations especially given the price paid for the night. Upon first entering my room, I found a pad wrapper left on the bathroom floor, which immediately raised concerns about the cleanliness and attention to detail. In addition, several basic amenities were either missing or not functioning properly. The shower water remained cold even after running it for a few minutes, and the dispensers in the shower were empty there was no shampoo or soap available. I’m not sure if my room was properly tended too before I arrived but these issues lead me to thinking no. You would think at the least these things would be topped off for the next guest. The bedding was also quite uncomfortable. The pillows were unusually hard and overly puffy, which resulted in neck pain upon waking. At checkout, I briefly mentioned the cleanliness issue and the cold water to the front desk. I was offered a $25 compensation at that time. However, I did not fully go into detail about the other issues, as the lobby was busy and I did not want to take up too much time or inconvenience other guests. After reflecting on the overall experience, I feel that the compensation offered does not adequately address the combination of issues encountered particularly the lack of basic amenities and cleanliness concerns."

"We arrived later in the evening appx 9pm got our room as i walked into the room it was like a sauna and tv didn't work..The room had a old style turn dial i turned it all the down on the ac function yet still ran hot air blowing like if it was on medium...i went to the desk was informed a switch had to be turned in the ceiling as i walked back maintenance was already there. He couldn't figure it out back to the desk for another room...New room was set at 66 yet temp was 76...it wasnt horrible but seceral guests we talked to said the same. He used the pool for a hour yes was heated but the walk way was soaked making it very slippery...Other than the ac the room was standard. Beds not comfortable but that most hotels. Had breakfast at 830. Scrambled eggs were empty , no muffins no pastry there was some ham and forget the other one was ...Ended up making a waffle in the machine . When we were leaving they were bring more things...They seemed laxed on the breakfast...overall i give it a 3 with having the ac issue and breakfast otherwise hotel was clean , staff was friendly. We ate elsewere because we were traveling "
