"Conveniently located for a visit to the Tiwanaku ruins (next door), this hotel makes an ok stop after crossing the border from Peru at Desaguadero. It bills itself as '4-star', but it's not really. Spacious hotel has seen better days and feels a bit neglected inside. Very friendly and helpful staff, and a decent meal was provided (although the restaurant was not open). Secure parking was a plus. Bed was completely knackered and felt like most of the springs had collapsed. Water warmish-hot...

"Wonderful boutique hotel amongst the dusty and noisy streets of Uyuni. The surrounds were typical for the city unfortunately. We were only there for a night after the salt flats tour. Nice breakfast, helpful staff. Only negative is that our room was very cold and we never figured out the heating. But that was more our fault than anything. "

"Lovely unique hotel with spa facilities. Great views. Food and drink expensive compared to elsewhere in Bolivia. 5 star hotel with 5 star prices. Transfer back to airport works out expensive if more than 1 person as charge per person rather than vehicle, so if 2 people or more taxi is cheaper "
