The temperatures are comfortable, typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C, which is pleasant for both wildlife viewing and relaxing by the sea. This period coincides with the cooler winter months in South Africa, which means the vegetation is less dense, making it easier to spot wildlife in the nearby game reserves. For travellers keen on wildlife viewing, particularly families, late May to early September is an excellent choice.
