Find hotels in Alojzov from £46

The best area to stay in Alojzov is generally within the village centre or the immediate surrounding countryside, particularly for those seeking a tranquil retreat or convenient access to local activities.

Alojzov itself is a small, quiet village, and accommodation options are primarily guesthouses or smaller hotels. Staying in the village centre provides easy access to the local church, any small shops, and the few traditional pubs. It's a great base for exploring the local walking and cycling trails that start right from the village.

Couples looking for a peaceful getaway will find the guesthouses on the outskirts of the village, surrounded by fields and forests, particularly appealing. These often offer scenic views and a very relaxed atmosphere, great for unwinding and enjoying nature.

The best time to visit Alojzov depends on your preferred activities, but late spring (May-June) and early autumn (September-October) generally offer the most pleasant weather for outdoor exploration.

During these months, the temperatures are comfortably mild, making it ideal for hiking or cycling through the surrounding forests and hills of the Olomouc Region. You'll find the countryside lush and green in spring, or beautifully coloured with autumnal hues later in the year, superb for scenic walks.

Couples often enjoy these shoulder seasons as they offer a more tranquil experience with fewer crowds at local attractions like Bouzov Castle, which is a short drive away. The weather is usually agreeable for dining outdoors at local restaurants or enjoying a leisurely afternoon exploring nearby towns such as Prostějov.

For families, the summer months (July-August) can also be a good option, especially if you plan to spend time enjoying outdoor activities. While it can be warmer, it's a popular time for local festivals and events, and the longer daylight hours allow for extended exploration.
