Fantastic comfortable hotel - Lovely, tastefully decorated rooms which were warm, cozy and spacious . The staff were fantastic and friendly and extremely informative and helpful . We enjoyed our meals in the bistro including breakfast in 3 mornings and an evening meal - the food was delicious and every attention to detail was given.
We were very impressed with all aspects of our stay and will definitely book again when back in Northumbria!
A lovely boutique hotel very well located to the town centre and next to the castle.

Lovely hotel great location and staff very friendly and helpful.
We stayed in The Chapel - it was breathtaking! Incredibly high standard of finishes, decor and furnishings. Modern and luxurious within the historic frame of the building and it's facinating history. Staff were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. We'd have no hesitation staying again and highly recommend The Cookie Jar if you're looking for a memorable overnight accommodation experience anywhere near Alnwick.
Lovely little hotel within a 2 minute walk of Alnwick Castle. Staff all very helpful and friendly. We had St Cuthbert’s Cave room. Very spacious - with a claw foot bath and enormous shower in the bathroom. Lovely home made cookies left to enjoy with the tea and coffee provided. We stayed 2 nights and ate in the restaurant on one night.
Absolutely wonderful weekend stay at the Cookie Jar. Nothing was too much trouble and would stay again anytime.
Also dined in the Bistro which was excellent.
Great location too.

Delicious experience
Lovely aand wonderful hotelmet all expectations. good service and beautiful decor.
A beautiful hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Our room (the Bamburgh) was large, bright and very comfortable. There’s a great choice for breakfast and for dinner (with my gluten intolerance catered for brilliantly). The hotel is literally opposite the castle with stunning walks on the doorstep.
We stayed in The Chapel Room, which was beautiful, so unique - with stunning stained glass windows, very spacious, gorgeous decor/furnishings and a super comfortable, large bed. The hospitality/housekeeping staff are all extremely helpful and polite. The breakfast was delicious and served by a smiling, friendly and helpful team - we always receive excellent customer service, thank you. The breakfast room/restaurant and resident's lounge are lovely to relax in too.
