Red Quill (Every cabin is named after a fly pattern.) Cabins 39-44 are identical styles with cabin 49 being similar but having a slightly different layout. These tiny home “mountain chalets” offer all the amenities of a cabin in a modern and compact package. They are perfect for families. There is a private bedroom downstairs and a low ceiling (4 feet high) sleeping loft upstairs with mattresses on the floor. Kids love to have their own space to crawl around up here. If anyone is very big or tall, these may not be the best cabin choice. \*Note of caution for small children: the steps going up to the loft are steep and narrow and could present a falling hazard. The railing in the upper sleeping loft is high but a small child could potentially climb over, presenting a dangerous falling hazard. If you have small children, a gate for the loft stairwell is recommended. • Approximately 400 square feet • The bedroom has a Queen size bed and the loft has 2 full size mattresses on the floor • Full size sofa in living room (not a hide-a-bed). • Covered open deck with patio table/chairs • Nearby community fire ring may be used • Supplies included: paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissues, bar soap, hairdryer, trash bags, dish soap • Not included: Anything edible (including coffee, condiments, spices), laundry detergent, shampoo and toiletries • Parking is somewhat limited in these cabins and is limited to 2 vehicles per unit or a vehicle and small trailer (not longer than a full size pick-up truck) unhitched and parked side by side with the vehicle. My husband, two sons (22 and 20) and dog stayed. They boys stayed in the loft. It's a very large space and they had to crawl around. Our dog is older and couldn't climb the stairs to the carpeted loft. So if you anticipate stairs being a problem for you doggie I recommend bringing their bed. There are so many areas to walk/hike that your dog will love! The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal. We didn't need to cook but it would've been hard for us to all have a place to sit and eat because the living room is small and the table only had 3 chairs. Guests staying up there had to crawl to get to both beds - not a great experience. The staff at the front desk/fly shop were friendly and made check in and check out a breeze.
