![Camping overnight in a turf house village we decided to go on an #Adventure towards the snow capped Herdubreid the Queen. 

Many Icelanders consider her to be the most beautiful mountain in all of Iceland.  Herdubreid is actually a tuya, a flat topped volcano with steep sides that forms when lava erupts through a glacier.
