"Overall we had a great stay beautiful rooms five-star amenities epic breakfast with the most beautiful breathtaking view of the mountains the staff was great especially nacteria who was super helpful They managed to have a rental car delivered to the hotel. "For Naturalist it is a paradise, beautiful, peaceful and serene. You must however have own transport, otherwise you are a bit stranded at the hotel. So try and rent transportation, my taxi transfer cost to the hotel and back cost more then my 2 night stay at the hotel. Staff at hotel very friendly and helpful. I would like to thank the manager at the hotel for sorting out taxi transfer from the hotel to the port - I made it in time for my ferry. It is very difficult to get taxi transfers...

"Very poor quality food, limited choices, poor housekeeping, in our 10 day stay, our sheets were changed once, the room was not cleaned at all. The pool dirty/cloudy and constantly full of bugs, and was generally in bad condition with broken lights, tiles (with sharp edges) and plagued with ants. Drinks were the usually cheap all inclusive type, and frequently some types were out of stock. Staff were generally friendly and pleasant though. Would not stay again."

"The property was charming. It is in the middle of the only village on the island and only five minutes walk from the port. The property is quite hard to find but the local contact on the island was very helpful sending very detailed instructions and photographs. The property was simple very clean and And exactly as shown in the photographs on Hotels.com. There were in effect for beds to downstairs and a double bed on a mezzanine. Outside the property was a charming pergola with seating and a swing seat where we could sip wine in the evening and watch the beautiful view over the village and the port above all else the property is on the most amazing island. If you have never been to Halki before then you’re in for the most wonderful surprise. it is a beautiful island with some lovely beaches some wonderful people. It really is Greece as it used to be 30 years ago. The one thing you absolutely must do is go to the Taverna in the abandoned old village up in the hills. You can include a walk up to the Medieval castle. That is the most magical evening."
