Stayed with my family for two nights. The cottage is very quiet even though the cottages are located in close proximity to each other. The check in and check out was simple and easy. There are plenty of water activities available to take part in (paddle board, canoes, and kayak). We would stay here again.

The staff were very helpful and friendly that made us feel welcoming and relaxing. The facilities were great including canoeing, paddle boats, floating board by the lake, a rec room opening 24 hours with video games and movies! Nice cottages with well maintenance are only a few steps away from the water. My family enjoyed very much including the camp fire at night!

Sara is very nice. Our cabin, although very basic, was very clean. The area around the cabin was very messy but they are actively working on it. I think by mid summer things should be in better shape. Give this place a try but maybe not in June.

We stayed in cottage 11.
I would not recommend this cottage with younger children due to the fact that the second bedroom was in a loft with stairs almost like a ladder. It was a bit run down too. It was well equipped and had good outdoorspace/furniture around the cottage. (A patio umbrella would have been nice though). The lake/view was great, if a bit squishy underfoot. The cottage was very close to the small beach despite being the farthest cottage from the water The selection of activities were good to add to what our family could do there, especially the easy plentiful selection of boats. I had a chance to go in cottage 3 which looked freshly renovated. Catching glimpses of some other cottages gave me the impression that they were in much better condition than ours. The rec room was helpful for our family with night owls who could hang out there so others could sleep. There is nothing nearby so bring your groceries. Also we asked for bedding and they accommodated us (except pillows).
Incredible peaceful. Kayak, paddle board, life jackets and paddles all available. Lake is shallow and great for swimming. Other visitors were friendly and the hikes in Algonquin Park fabulous. Had trouble finding the office open and a person in the office. Would book cottage again.
We love the area, and it is close access to Algonquin park. But these are old rundown cottages placed close together. The ladder to the upstairs rooms would never pass a building inspection and is dangerous. Cheaply built with poor upkeep. Negotiate a better price.
