With 5 bdrs 3 baths, our cottage comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests, making it ideal for families or multiple couples looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Beautiful cottage and property on Otter Lake near Dorest! It was great to have a cottage that had a dock and beach for kids. Cottage was clean and very well stocked! Host was very quick to respond to all inquiries.

Exceeded Expectations

Property is impeccable in a beautiful cove like setting. It was everything we could have hoped for during our family get together. Spacious clean and comfortable. The cottage interior was warm and inviting with plenty of things to do. So many small details were taken care of and we are grateful that we found this listing. Well worth the stay and we plan on booing again in the future.

This was our first cottage rental for a family of 10 getaway. Very nice setting and convenient location to nearby activities/stores.The kitchen was well stocked, had everything we needed and the whole cottage provided comfort. ( beds, pillows, furniture)The sandy beach and water depth was perfect for kids. They loved it.After a string of hot days the cottage was extremely hot. Overhead fans in 3 of the bedrooms somewhat helped, but additional portable fans for the master bedroom and living room would be beneficial.The hosts were excellent to deal with through the whole process.

We had a 6 night stay, great location, easy checkin, good communication, great rooms and layout. We had family photos done in the lovely shady area out front. It was nice to have a play structure and trampoline for the kids, a favourite stop in the way to the water. The beach was fabulous for the kids, and just enough shade that we could all squeeze into it. The canoe was not usable but the double kayak and paddle boat were ok even without a keel. Swimming was good but water shoes recommended as the bottom becomes soft and mucky about 20' from the shore.It was a heat wave, and even with the extra fans we brought it was hot for sleeping (no a/c). The downstairs was cooler, and in the evening we enjoyed the pool table, darts, kids toys, games and had a movie night. It did cool down by the end of the week and the cool air flow through the night was wonderful.The kitchen was well set up although the microwave didn't work so we had to use the downstairs one. Some cupboard space for food would be great, the counters filled up quickly and we had a mouse problem the first night. We enjoyed the large eating area on the deck for dinners and stayed for the meteor shower once it was dark. The screened in room of the kitchen was also great for lunches, crafts, puzzles and avoiding the sun when it got too hot. Thanks for sharing your beautiful space, some wonderful memories were made!
