The room was spacious and elegant with a view across the sea. The heating worked fine and there were plenty of windows should you desire some breeze. The room had everything needed including a large fridge/freezer and a sizable ensuite. The WiFi wasn't really working on this level, however, and the "breakfast" was just instant coffee and some cake. The tourist tax which was also 600 on the official rate, I payed 1,000 for, which is definitely well over the unofficial rate; however, I've still accounted for all of the above with my rating, and the staff were all friendly and the price I paid was indeed very reasonable. I would recommend, and would stay again. Bathtubs in 2 different rooms are blocked water does get drained! Lightings in rooms and bathroom are so dim! Furniture is very very old and crapy! Strangers and non guests walk in from the street and use elevators to access rooms upstairs to do what exactly only God knows!!!! This is an honest advise to tourists visiting Alger just stay away and don’t ruin your visit staying at this shady place!"
