Villa Valentina is a spacious holiday home, located amongst the hills between Almancil and Sta. Barbara de Nexe. Ideal for families who want to relax away from the crowded tourist centers, just a short drive away from all amenities, this is the perfect spot for a family getaway in the Portuguese sun.

The villa has 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and sleeps 12+1 people. On the first floor there is a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a large terrace with wonderful views. The lower level houses a twin bedroom and a bedroom with 1 double bed, 2 single beds (sleeps 4) and an en-suite bathroom, as well as a separate bathroom.

On the ground floor of the property there is 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom with an en-suite bathroom (the beds can be made into a double bed). The ground floor also has an additional bathroom and a fully fitted kitchen with a hob, oven, toaster, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker, dishes and utensils and a washing machine.

A new games room with a snooker table provides the perfect space for friendly family matches, next to the cosy living room with a TV. Free Wi-Fi is provided, as well as air conditioning (cooling and heating) in all bedrooms.

Three spacious terraces with outdoor lounging and dining areas spill out into the tranquil garden with a large and inviting swimming pool (heatable as an optional extra). There are plenty of sun loungers to relax in the sun, a grassy area for playing and a ping-pong table for matches in between dips in the pool. A BBQ allows for outdoor meals to be cooked and enjoyed al fresco.

Villa Valentina is located just a 5-minute drive away from Almancil, the Mar Shopping center (with a vast selection of shops, restaurants and a supermarket) and the Laranjal Golf course. The nearest restaurant “Alagoas” is only 1.5km away (20-minute walk or 3-minute drive) and the beautiful Algarve coast and beaches are about a 20-minute drive away.

Car hire is recommended for this property, which we can help you to book on request.

The changeover day for this property is on Saturday (however this may be flexible in low season).

Pool Heating will always be an upgrade for your holidays, especially when travelling with children. The temperature of the water when the pool heating is activated will always be between 5ºC and 8ºC higher than if there was no pool heating.

We have not long come back from this villa and it was brilliant. Had more than enough room for 9 adults and 3 kids. The place was spotless when we arrived and the local rep came to meet is not long after we got there. They showed us around and then left us to it but where only a phone call away if we needed them. We would highly recommend staying here and would happily go back again ourselves

Villa Valentina was a truly amazing villa, with all the facilities needed to have a fantastic stay. There were 10 members in our party, to celebrate a special 60th birthday, and we were all very comfortable in the villa, with loads of space. The gorgeous pool and outdoor area made a superb spot for sunbathing and dining outside. David, the rep, was very helpful and welcoming. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Overall the property is good although one of the bathrooms was filthy. Having reported it the response was the cleaners had confirmed that they had cleaned the en suite and we would have to pay to have it cleaned again. Very disappointing and unhelpful.

Everyone enjoyed the stay at this beautiful villa. It was set in beautiful grounds with stunning views and the pool was a great size. It had plenty of sun loungers and 2 great seating areas outside but under cover. There was plenty of parking. It also had 2 fridge freezers which was great, one for food an one for drinks which all large villas should have. The one bedroom upstairs had a very large balcony but unfortunately they did not put any seating on it which was a shame. The rooms were all a fantastic size and the kitchen could do with a few oven pans. The two bedrooms downstairs we found that the beds were not comfortable and would benefit from better mattresses or bed toppers but I guess that's our personal view. All in all a fantastic holiday at a stunning villa which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.

We hebben een fantastische vakantieweek gehad mede dankzij de geweldig mooie villa. Vanwege het prachtige weer hebben we elke dag gebruik gemaakt van het zwembad. Elke dag konden we onder de overkappingen lekker buiten eten en of vertoeven bij het zwembad.

We were a family of 10 and have stayed in a number of villas over the years, but this villa was amazing.. The standard or accommodation was excellent, we organised the transfers were perfectly on time and everything ran like clockwork. A special mention to Olivia Who was spot on through the whole booking process. We are considering rebooking for another holiday We did choose the pool heating and in September I would highly recommend it ..

Es war ein sehr schöner entspannter Urlaub in einer schönen großen Villa ohne neugierige Nachbarn. Das beste an der Villa war der schöne große Pool. Bis auf die beiden unrenovierten Bäder im Souterrain ist das Haus perfekt. Etwas nervig war nur, das man wirklich alles kaufen musste, selbst Toilettenpapier in jedem Bad nur eine Rolle, naja ist dort vielleicht so. Zur Sauberkeit kann ich nur sagen, ist in Ordnung aber verbesserungswürdig .

We were a family of 9 with ages ranging from 1 to 65 and we all had a great time. The pool was a lovely size and a good temperature (we paid for heating) so we made the most of it. The kids loved the pool table and table tennis. The villa was very clean with plenty of clean towels etc and more than enough space for a big family. We rented cars and its only about 15 min drive to the the nearest beaches. You have to drive everywhere but it's worth it for the quiet location and space you get from being further out. We would definitely return!

Just arrived back from this villa group of 8 adults and 2 children age 5, the villa is spacious and garden is large plenty of space for everyone Nice bbq area with plenty of seating for us all Had everything required in the kitchen, maid attended mid week to clean bathrooms and floors and weekends to change bedding. Location is pretty much 15 min drive to faro, Loule and aqua park we used Uber and would recommend if you are not hiring a car. Mar shopping centre is 3 min away has lots of shops plus a supermarket for all your food. We did have pool heating and this allowed swimming in the evening to be warm We all had a fabulous holiday and would definitely recommend and would return

Family from Poland with a few friends. This was our first time in this property. We loved it. Very nice villa, well kept and very comfortable. Great outdoor area. The kids loved the swimming pool. We had the pool heated. We hired a van for us all and we were all over Algarve. Fabulous country. I don´t know when we will return to Algarve but one thing I am sure, we will recommend it to all our friends.

Our ages ranged from 4 to 70 years. There was plenty of space for us all and the house is very well equipped. The games room offered pool and table football and outside table tennis. The swimming pool proved very popular and we opted for the heated option. This made all the difference for the younger children (and myself). We had no trouble getting there from Faro airport and we also traveled into Spain to see Seville. This was my first time in Portugal and I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this lovely villa.

Loved our stay at this villa. Everything was as described. The swimming Pool was warm as requested and the children in our group made great use of it. Big garden, perfect for the children. Spotlessly clean all the bedrooms spacious and the living area the same. The local representative responded to any inquiries immediately. I would definitely rent again.
