staff was very helpful,breakfast acceptable,hotel bit dated,but you get what you pay for,very central,city view rooms,very loud with music,till 4am,pool view rooms a lot better.

Perfect for party goers
Don’t believe the bad reviews !! Absolutely loves it !! The staff are so helpful and friendly, the room spacious. (Need to bring a hairdryer though) the pool gorgeous, the breakfast fabulous the location is perfect for the strip if your not here to party don’t book but if you are go for it I’ll be back

The worst hotel experience ever. I reserved a room for 3 people and, upon check-in, the staff told me that the room was unavailable and did not know when it would be available. To make matters worst, the staff was incredibly rude and callous with their remarks and hinted that it was somehow my fault. Never again will I attempt to stay here.

This hotel was cancelled by hotels.com They never had the decency to tell me it was shut.i was sitting outside a locked hotel.then found out i was put in a hotel miles from here Shame on hotels.com. they are still taking bookings and its shut

Excellent amenities. Outstanding staff. Great value for money and I’ll definitely be staying here again. Breakfast, lunch and dinner also great. My only complaint was that they didn’t have contactless payment machines at the time and couldn’t find me an iron for personal use but there is a laundry service.

Staff were so welcoming and friendly. I got booked into the wrong hotel that was under construction so because of the mix up they upgraded me to a sea view room and the views were sublime

Central position on the strip. Basic room bath and shower. Towels changed everyday. We took a travel kettle as no room kettle. Had bed and breakfast which was fine. Cant speak about the other meals. Used trip advisor and had some beautiful meals in Clay Oven top of the strip, Golden Garden

the bathroom was immaculate. The dining area and the pool area were really nice. The "City View" rooms face onto the Albufeira Strip which has bars that play loud music till 4 in the morning, I would book a "Pool View" next time.

Big rooms but hard beds
This hotel is extremely basic. I enjoyed a great big room but the bed was very uncomfortable. I like a firm bed but I actually had to check to see if it had a mattress. No kettle, tea or coffee options in the room either, which is a real disappointment. The breakfast was the usual emphasis on bread, cakes and tons of carbs. It sufficed. Behind the hotel there are many. Really good restaurants: 3 Palms is one, about 10 mins up the road and Augustus is another, a bit closer. Right in front of the hotel is a really sleazy street with cheap bars and cafes, not so nice.

Our trip to algarve was short, we only needed a place for two nights, wanted to be close to the beach and didn’t do much research. The hotel is in the heart of town, located on the same strip as all of the bars, which made it very difficult to sleep. The music didn’t stop until about 4, noise around 6 and then the ground cleaners were going by 7 with leaf blowers. Walking distance to the beach which made it nice to not have to move the car, also walking distance to downtown albufeira. Pros - the included breakfast was descent and the staff was friendly and helpful. Cons - very noisy area, room was just ok, not 100% clean, had to pay extra for everything including parking and the safe in the room. Because we were only here for two days, we made the best of it, but i would not recommend for a relaxing week vacation. I personally, would not stay again.

The room was generally clean and facilities were adequate. Most of the staff were friendly and cheerful apart from one lady in the reception. The large black haired lady was abrupt and sometimes unhelpful. The swimming pool was a good size. The breakfast choice was good, but the cereals were stale and not very tasty. The rooms that face the 'Strip' need sound proofing. The young Brits and Dutch people drink and party outside till 6-7am in the morning and make a lot of noise. They litter the place with bottles and plastic and half eaten food. Not the hotel's fault. It is difficult to sleep as the noise goes on till 6am. Go to a different hotel if you want a quiet and restful holiday.

The property is an absolute dump! The staff are rude, the lobby smells like rotting fish and the rooms look worse than I imagine prison to be. They make you pay extra for everything (ie use of the safe to store your valuables, and mini fridge, even make you pay a 20 euro deposit for the iron!!!!). It’s extremely loud because it’s right beside the bars. It seemed like good “value” for the money but it isn’t. Stay anywhere else.

Leonardo the chap on reception was brilliant! All other staff were friendly & welcoming too. Some areas were slightly dated & in need of some TLC, but it did not spoil our stay. Breakfast was fresh & had a good array. Didn't eat there in evening, do couldn't comment on dinner there. Great location in middle of everything in the new town. Would recommend paying bit extra for pool view though as street view us right over The Strip - Albufeira's main bar & club drag.

Good but not good enough
Staff were helpful at times. Had wanted a double bed ended up with 2 single ones joined together. The cleaners didn't give the room.a thorough clean had sticky surfaces were the drink was spilt but no one cleaned it. Had no wardrobe to hang clothes and if we did they were visible for all to see, had to pay extra money to use the mini bar in the room and the safe and there was an extra cost to using the iron if kept over night. The nightlife was amazing but you couldn't sleep till 3 or 4 in the morning really noisy. Had a nice view looking over the strip.

Did like the location. easy access to beach, restaurants and city center. Didn't like: Very noisy. Guests has no respect when come back at night .Bathroom need a serious upgrade. Tv black and white, remote control broken. None smoker rooms are exposed to cigarette fume from the balcony. Can't enjoy the balcony because of that !

Enjoyed staying at this central hotel. Although the room was basic it was clean and the hotel generally was clean and tidy. Somewhat dated the hotel does have a good sized swimming pool and a good breakfast.

Basic, good improvements made
This was the 4th year I have stayed here and they have made some good improvements to the rooms. Bathroom refitted, now with lovely (and good) walk in shower. Room redecorated to a reasonably good standard. Windows and door to balcony could do with attention- gaps around balcony door and one single, very flimsy bolt didn’t feel very safe or secure (as balcony could be easily accessed from public areas) . Needs better door / windows with double glazing to reduce noise and improve security No hairdryer or tea making facilities and towels are seriously worn out. There was a fridge and safe but disappointed you had to pay extra for these, really should be included. Staff are absolutely lovely - friendly and courteous at all times. Pool area needs some attention- the pool is a little grubby around the sides, the tiles around the pool are broken and uneven in quite a few places. There are plenty of sun beds but these really need replacing- very old and worn out now. Great breakfast selection, and a decent snack bar with reasonable prices for a hotel. Location is in middle of Strip but quiet enough in a poolside room. This is not a top grade hotel but you are not paying top grade prices. It is basic but clean and comfortable- good value.

Room was on the side of a street wgere all clubs are. Forget about sleeping till 4am. When ive asked for change of the room coz i wanted peace and quiet during my stay i was told to pay extra and that the other only room was on the second floor. Apparently there was nothing else free. Well thats a lie coz most of the rooms were empty in the hotel.

Nice, comfortable hotel. Very close to party street of Albufeira it might get noisy. Would suggest to get the room with pool view, these are really quiet. All staff is polite and helpful. I can recommend the hotel.
