Villa Martinica is a wonderful traditional Algarve villa set in a quiet countryside location, between Guia and Galé. Perfect for families looking to stay away from the crowds, this 3-bedroom property with a private swimming pool and marvellous countryside views is the ideal choice for a relaxing holiday.

Villa Martinica has 3 bedrooms (2 twin and 1 double bedrooms), all with en-suite bathrooms, as well as an additional guest W.C.

The kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking with a hob and oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, electric kettle and coffee machine. The kitchen also has direct access to the front terrace with outdoor dining area and a traditional Algarve BBQ where you can prepare meals on the grill. The living / dining room includes comfortable seating, satellite TV and free Wi-Fi, and leads out to the pool area at the back of the villa.

The pool area and rural views are the highlight of this villa, with plenty of sun loungers from which to soak up the sun, surrounding grassy areas where the children can play, and a table and chairs where you can enjoy your breakfast while taking in the scenery.

Villa Martinica is right next door to its sister villa Sardenha. Both can be booked by large families that wish to stay in close proximity (subject to availability).

The charming village of Guia, with several restaurants specialising in Chicken Piri-Piri (spicy chicken), banks and cake shops, is just a 5 min drive away and the Algarve Shopping centre, one of the largest in the region is just an 8-minute drive away.
A quality supermarket, pubs and restaurants, including one with 2 Michelin stars, as well as the Salgados Golf Course and nature reserve, with lagoon and pedestrian walkway (great for bird watching), are located within a 5-minute drive.

Other beautiful beaches like Salgados, Lourenço or São Rafael, just to name a few, are located within a short drive.
Albufeira town, with its colourful marina, charming old town along Fishermen's beach and the strip, with quality restaurants, pubs, shops and sparkling nightlife, is located within a 10-minute drive.

For a great family day out, there is also a choice of water parks, karting track and a zoo with mini golf.

Car hire is recommended if you want to hire a car, we can help you with your request.

The changeover day for this property is on Saturday.

Great accommodation. the villa itself is comfortable and clean. We had a great help of Olivia in advance and Martin helped us well with the introduction on our first day. All the equipment in the villa worked well

Although the payment process was choppy and not well organized, the property was perfect. The property is very roomy and comfortable. The kitchen well stocked. My children and grandchildren came for a family BBQ and we had enough dishes and utensils to serve everyone. The swimming pool is large and very well filtered. Once you pass the original paperwork step, the experience is one of pure delight.

Das Haus ist sehr geräumig. Alle Schlafzimmer mit Klimaanlage und angrenzendem Bad. Erfreulicherweise wurden in 2 Badezimmern die Badewannen durch begehbare Duschen ausgetauscht. Der große Pool ist sensationell. Wir lieben diese Villa.

Sehr ruhige Lage. Auto oder Taxi erforderlich. Großer Pool, schöne Außenanlage. Das Haus ist geräumig, jedes Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Badezimmer. Zusätzlich ist eine separate Toilette vorhanden. Insgesamt ein hoher Erholungswert, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Als Kritikpunkte sind zu erwähnen: Außendusche funktionierte mehrmals nicht, wurde auf Anfrage behoben. Die Außenbeleuchtung am Pool und am Eingang flackerte, behoben wurde nur die Beleuchtung am Pool. Schade fanden wir, dass wir mehrfach bis zu drei Mal an unsere Mängelanzeigen erinnern mussten, damit sich jemand kümmerte. Dadurch dauerte die Mängelbeseitigung immer relativ lange. Genereller Sanierungsrückstand: Lichtschalter teilweise defekt, mehrere schon länger bestehende Wasserschäden an den Wänden, teilweise große Setzrisse in den Wänden und Wandfliesen.

Maison très propre, belle piscine, très agréable d'avoir 3 salles de bain, linge très propre, lits très confortables. Arrivée pratique avec les clefs en boitier. Merci à Sandra pour son déplacement et sa sympathie. Réponse rapide en cas de petit soucis, robinet d'évier défectueux à l'extérieur changé le lendemain. Toutefois la gérance se passe en Angleterre et pour les personnes non bilingue c'est assez compliqué lors des premiers échanges par mail. Il faut également préciser que la maison est mitoyenne avec une autre location semblable, mais fin septembre ca n'était pas un problème. En résumé nous recommandons cette location.

This basic property is in need of updating and some maintenance too. The furnishings are mostly tired and dated. In particular, the pool furniture could be replaced. Overall, we genuinely believed that we overpaid for this villa. That said, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Het huis lag perfect. Veel ruimte in en om het huis. Alles wat je nodig hebt is er. Alleen het keukengerij moet geslepen worden. Alle mensen waren bot.

Urlaub bei bis zu 29 Grad Ende Oktober. Viel zu unternehmen von dieser tollen Villa aus. Absolute Alleinlage und damit tolle Familienzeit. Pool etwas kühl, aber nicht für die Kids...Wir haben die Auszeit sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

Fabulous Villa, very clean, beautiful location, peaceful and tranquil. Very comfortable beds. The sofas in the lounge area are a little worn however that didn’t affect the comfort. I would recommend this Villa for all the best reasons and it’s close to all amenities. If you want to go to the beach I would recommend a car, we hired a car from the airport to the Villa but if we wanted to go out and not worry about drinking and driving we hired an Uber they are cheaper than taxis.

Se conseguir, voltarei garantidamente, É a melhor resposta. Mosqueteiros seria excelente. Será importante, porque a Moradia encontra-se no campo, a equipa de limpeza terá que ter mais atenção, com as marcas das Melgas mortas nas paredes.

We voelden ons zeer welkom toen we aankwamen. De beheerder was erg aardig en behulpzaam. De locatie is dichtbij genoeg van lokale restaurants en bars. Het huis was erg schoon, beddengoed en handdoeken zijn aanwezig. Een goed verblijf. Zou niet aarzelen om opnieuw te boeken.

Highly recommend this Villa, no matter what your purpose of visit is. Andre the representative is very accomodating, friendly, easy to deal with. We loved the location, it is very quiet but close enough to Albufeira. Zero complaints or negatives to report. All beds ect are clean and comfortable... All this at a very reasonable price. Would definately come back.
