We stayed at The Monastery with friends for August long weekend. The staff were great and the property was lovely, but definitely not 5 star. However, the location was not the best, and the price vs. value just didn’t align. Breakfast was ok, but not outstanding or anything. No coffee in the room, keycards constantly stopped working and replaced several times. The air conditioning didn’t work in our friends room, they were moved to another room for the night until the air conditioning was repaired. Just a series of details that all added up to feeling like we overpaid. The staff were super friendly and great with the numerous issues, and we felt bad being problem guests, but we couldn’t get into our room several times.

Absolutely lovely. This is our second time staying and we will stay again in the future. Beautiful Inn, comfortable, and convenient location in downtown.
