Horrible Stay. Listing is deceptive and property is inadequate for how the homeowner is choosing to lure guests. The property is indeed two different listings within the same house. This is elusively described in the listing & was a shock to us when another guest arrived to check in. All outdoor amenities are listed but need to be shared between both listings. The property manager mistakenly did not prep the house correctly when we arrived by not locking the lower-level door. This gave us access to the basement bedroom. Unknowing that this house was two listing one guest slept in the basement & one guest slept upstairs. It wasn't until the next day we discovered what had happened when a second set of guests arrived for check in. The property manager lied to the homeowner and lied to the management company stating we had illegally entered the second unit. He told a story that villainized me and that I was acting deceitfully. The manager also entered the home unknowingly by us and without our permission leaving a nasty note on the upstairs counter. When these events took place we were not at the home. We were on a boat with our customers as we were in Alexandria for a convention. We were forced to get dropped off at a dock and find transportation home to remove our belongings from the lower level immediately. This severely affected our stay and experience in Alexandria. We had personal items in the house when someone we did not know entered. We did not complete our stay.
