"Raspberry Cottage" is part of the recently renovated luxury Catterwood Cottage (which also includes "Mountain View Cottage") in Croftamie, a 30-minute drive from Glasgow. The cottage is situated on a quiet private road in Trossachs National Park, where guests can enjoy exploring iconic spots such as Loch Lomond, The Devil's Pulpit, Glengoyne Distillery, and the Campsie Hills. "Raspberry Cottage" can accommodate up to 6 people and includes: • Fully roofed 6-seater private Hot Tub (included in the price); • Outdoor fully roofed lounge/gazebo with fairy lights and a dining area with private gas BBQ; • 1 bedroom with comfortable king-size bed, wardrobe, full-length mirror and TV; • Spacious living room with 2 sofa beds, flat-screen TV with streaming services • Modern, fully equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer, ceramic hob with oven, toaster, kettle, and coffee machine; • Modern bathroom with shower; • Children's Playground with trampoline; • A Outdoor Stove with Pizza Oven; • On-site 24/7 shop with food, snacks and drinks; • Stunning Mountauin View Additionally, we offer free Wi-Fi, private parking, and ironing facilities. Linen, hair dryers, and complimentary toiletries are supplied, and children’s travel cots, highchairs, and suitable cutlery are available on request. We provide towels, bedding, bedlinen and blankets. For your furry family members, we are a pet-friendly accommodation, providing comfortable beds and bowls for their stay. There is a fee of £25 per dog per stay, we allow up to 3 dogs/booking. Please email us if you wish to bring your pet. Celebration packages are available for any occasion. Prices start at just £40\. Simply make your booking, and we will email you the list of available Celebration Packages. You can then choose the best package that suits your preferences. We also offer Extended Check-in & Check-out times, please email us for details. Catterwood Cottage is located about 12 minutes walk from the small village of Croftamie. Slightly further afield is Drymen (5 minute’s drive) with an excellent butcher, a well-stocked Spar supermarket, a couple of nice places to eat, a bicycle hire shop, a dentist and a doctor's surgery. Balloch (about 15 15-minute’ drive) is on the south shore of Loch Lomond and has a large Co-op supermarket, a branch of Jenners, a Hawkeshead outdoor clothing shop, Chinese, Indian, and Italian restaurants, takeaways, a marina, boat hire, and pleasure cruises on the loch. In addition to the outdoor pursuits around Raspberry Cottage (walking, climbing, cycling, fishing, horse-riding, boating, wildlife watching, etc.), there are indoor activities for rainy days. The Buchanan Hotel in Drymen has a swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, gym, and squash court. Day tickets are usually available to visitors. There are four distilleries, each within half an hour’s drive of Raspberry Cottage (Deanston, Glengoyne, Loch Lomond and Auchentoshan), all of which conduct tours. Balloch has a Sealife Centre and some clothes shops in Lomond Shores Centre. Glasgow is about 35 35-minute drive away and has an excellent Museum of Transport as well as the famed Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery. To avoid having to drive into the town centre, it is often easier to catch the train from Milngavie or Bearsden (about 20 minutes' drive to these stations). Stirling (30-minute drive) is also worth a visit to Stirling Castle and the nearby National Wallace Monument. Please note that we do not provide hot tub towels, robes, or slippers; please bring your own. Alternatively, you can hire towels and robes from our on-site self-service shop. A Hot Tub Disclaimer must be signed prior to use, and a Security Deposit of £100 is required for all bookings. Cottage is semi detached so you have others directly through the fence if both in the garden (may be useful to know if you are taking dogs that would bark at this). Host very helpful.The only issue we had was with the decoration package purchased for 49\. We received a reusable neon sign outdoor and a few blown up balloons and a banner in the living room which we did not find worth the money paid but a nice touch for our friend all the same.
