We were very disappointed with our stay. The lodge was not clean, with cobwebs,a dirty hot tub which the man who came to clean it admitted it had not been cleaned before our arrival. Even in a welcome pack the biscuits were out of date. The TV didn't work and when I contacted the number in the information folder the owner as he told me, was very intimating and told me his number should not be in that folder. He actually made me feel like a fool. The bed and pillows were very hard and very uncomfortable. While someone did come to assist, the hot tub still was not cleaned properly and still unusable. We left a night early, and being charged a 250 cleaning fee is completely unacceptable given the condition of the property. Calum who came to view and discuss our concerns even agreed it was not acceptable. This is certainly no the five-star experience we paid for, and we would not return.
