Located in a quiet area on Carnegie Bay in Alexandria Bay. \-10-15 minute walk to downtown Alexandria Bay with shopping, restaurants, bars and Scenic View Park with a playground and beach. \-15 minute walk or 5 minute drive to Uncle Sam boat tours to visit Boldt Castle. \-Short drive to wineries, golf, mini-golf, boat rentals, boat tours, Clayton, etc. This unit has 1 Full bed in a private room downstairs if you prefer to sleep in a darker room. 1 Queen bed in the loft upstairs if you prefer to wake up with the sun. 2 Twin beds in a private, dark room attached to the loft bedroom. Full kitchen with dishwasher and breakfast bar. The living room is bright and sunny and has a balcony overlooking the bay with chairs and a small grill. Washer and dryer set. You can fit up to a 30 ft. boat in our private boat house on the ground level. You can also bring your fishing pole and fish right off the boathouse! The main entrance to our house is on the second level. We hired a boat for the day from Mac's boat rentals which was literally round the corner from us and was a wonderful day. We also did uncle Sam's boat cruise and spent an afternoon at Clayton. We totally fell in love with Wellesley so can highly recommend a trip there. Alexandria bay has restaurants and a selection of nice shops, all of which are walkable from the accommodation. When i asked my 10 yr old where he wanted to go for a a second vacation this year after renting a house on the Chesapeake bay in June. He said he wanted to go back to Alexandria Bay and bring his grandparents. My inlaws own a house on a lake in Wisconsin but they loved river life here. We drove our own boat to town every night to have dinner and shop. We spent our days cruising around on the boat looking at the islands. We spent the day at Boldt Castle again took our own boat. Very clean and updated. The boat slip garage was perfect for our stay. No better place than Alex Bay for the 4th of July. Check in was seamless and lots of contact with the owners. Very responsive. Had everything we needed. Loved the lower boat house and marina across the channel made launching and trailer storage easy. This home was close to shopping and restaurants.
