It is one side of a duplex with it's own private entrance and deck. \- Welcome to The Ledges Resort & Marina! We are located directly on the St. Lawrence River across from Boldt Castle. We have views of the castle, Sunken Rock Lighthouse, and the main shipping channel. There are decks, docks, hammocks, and gazebos all across our six-acre property. You will find many beautiful spots to relax, read a book, take a walk, or go fishing. We have a large in-ground pool and deck area. Every cottage has its own fire-pit where you can warm up under the stars. We even provide the firewood! There are plenty of open lawn areas to play catch, lawn games, or just take a walk. The Ledges offers a peaceful getaway with six acres of landscaped grounds along the water. While the grounds provide privacy and lots of space, we are not in a remote location. It’s a quick and easy walk downtown Alexandria Bay. We are close to all of the attractions. The unit was clean, comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed our meals outside on the deck with a table that could seat all of our family of 8 easily while catching beautiful views of the river! While we were nervous that this unit seemed to be a shared house (duplex), it was quiet and we had our own space with plenty of privacy. There is a bit of a walk to the water which is on the other side of the resort, but the views are still gorgeous. All of our needs were met in the unit, but if we needed anything extra or had questions, the owners responded promptly and were so kind and helpful.
