I can’t say enough good about this place in fact I liked it so much I extended my trip and came back :) everything is perfect but the best this is the hoteliers Francesca and Markus. Wonderful people who really made my trip with their kind attention and information. Locally there is so much to do, just walking and seeing waterfalls and mountains is delightful and I also went para gliding, and in Zermatt there is year round skiing and shopping. A delightful chalet high up from the town with spectacular mountain views and fresh alpine air. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious with homemade jams and cake to compliment the croissants and rolls. Local meat and cheese too. We walked down to the town for delicious pizza in the evening.

The hotel staff were helpful

This is an excellent good value hotel in the town centre about 5 minutes wald from the railway station The room was large and comfortable with an efficient shower and a tv with a massive selection of internation channels from across Europe Breakfast is in a large impre4ssive room and of very good quality, particularly the butter machine which avoids using pre-packed plastic tubs There is a large array of old posters around the entire hotel which hark back to the golden age of travel in this town...

Very friendly staff who were most helpful. Shoutout to the girl on reception with short hair who was fantastic and gave us some good recommendations. The food was nice and the room was good for the price.

Loved the place,highly recommended,need to know you will need to cook your own meals,fully functioning kitchen,otherwise you can eat out at local hotel,within the village.the co-op have big presence in area for grocery supplies,with biggest store in interlarken ost,and smaller presence in Murren,and lauterbrunnen

There is no doubt that the steep, but short climb up to this hotel is utterly worth the view

Loved this hotel. Beautiful design, comfy bed and friendly staff. Gorgeous views and quieter end of town. Great breakfast and cafe over the road linked to hotel was amazing. Owners really helpful with suggestions and ideas. Welcome bottle of fizz was a lovely touch. Easy walk to restaurants/bars, glacier gorge, First cable car, Pfingstegg and rail station and village bus stops right outside the door. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thanks for a great stay.

We booked this at the very last minute after having to deviate from our ski touring plan around Saas Fee. The staff were really nice and friendly, the rooms clean and functional with nice views and the breakfast was excellent and really good value.

Amazing stay in Grindelwald. Hotel was very clean, beds were comfortable and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was ample - eggs, cereal, fruit and meats and nespresso or filter coffee. If it started even 30 mins earlier would be amazing as need to out early if doing hikes. The door to the left from the lift was amazing for accessing the terminal station but guests can’t enter this way coming back. Very steep climb to the village but the 121 bus from the terminal takes you up there. This ends about...

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel two nights ago. Everything felt new, fresh, and exceptionally clean, with beautiful décor throughout. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, especially Rune, who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. His service was excellent, and the complimentary shuttle service was such a thoughtful and convenient touch. Great location, good access to the town, trains and cable cars. We came in April so no queues. The view from our bedrooms was amazing. Breakfast was continental but also included egg, bacon etc I would stay again.
