Warm hospitality, large house

Portugal and it's people are gentle and kind. We have visited many times and love it north to south. Tucked away at the end of a bumpy dirt road is a real gem. Only 7 rooms - ours even had a wood burning stove (yes it did). More oranges than you could eat in a lifetime and so quiet at night you can hear them grow. This location is worthy of your time and is a great value if slow and easy is your mission. Go with the flow here - take a walk - eat an orange - meet a burro - say hello to your...

Oh my goodness, myself and my husband cannot rate this hotel highly enough. It is pure perfection. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, the food, ambiance and hotel/room was more than perfect. There is absolutely nothing negative to say. Thank you so much for for a fantastic stay. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful property, lovely warm pool and very friendly staff. The grounds are fantastic too, we especially enjoyed our exploring with the hotel’s golf buggy. The food is exceptional, it should be Michelin starred! Perfect location for exploring Évora too.

We stayed at the Episode Sana for 4 nights. We went to relax and whine down, so the location was a perfect spot for us. If you want to. E by the hustle and bustle, 'subs this is not the hotel for you. The interior is amazing. The food is nice. We had spa treatments, which were great. They really do look after you. Even room service, when we ordered food it was no longer than 15 minutes. Beautiful grounds including hammock sun beds where you can lounge away from the pool and everybody and read or...

Very polite, helpful staff. Location is good, only few minutes walk from town centre. The view was amazing from the rooftop swimming pool. Everything is modern and of good quality. Breakfast offered great choice, even different cheese from local producers. Wifi worked great. Our bathroom had a nice wide walk in shower, the only improvement I can think of is more storage place in the bathroom.

Overall excellent for the price. Located just outside the old town of Évora which is easily accessible with a 10 minute walk. Nespresso machine in the room - no instant coffee! Hurray! Breakfast was delicious with a good choice and even included the option of freshly cooked waffles and omelette.

Lovely hotel, but limited view from our room of the castle wall. Breakfast was not very good, but a lot of variety. Good coffee, but the pain au raisin was undercooked and still raw dough inside. The hot water took a very long time to get through to the shower and in the morning it was only Luke warm. Bed was comfy and pool cool but clean. Free bottle of wine in room was nice.

Beautiful tranquil location. No food after 4pm, not even a bowl of peanuts, so we had to drive to town to get food!

We stayed in this hotel for one night. It’s right in the heart of the wine region and we visited a vineyard before arriving for the night. Easy to park in the underground car park but there’s also plenty of parking on the street. Super easy check-in and offered drink as we arrived which was nice. The hotel has an indoor pool and some Thermo circuit spas which were great to relax in the afternoon and morning. Lovely breakfast with a good choice, including eggs Benedict. The bedroom was nicely...

We had a wonderful stay, the suite was spacious and beautiful. Both the outdoor and indoor pools were stunning. The restaurant was great too, 5 stars all round 😃 one suggestion for QDC, it would be great to have a more casual/snack bar option for lunches or dinners, to give an extra option

L'AND Vineyards was a beautiful place, with excellent wine and great service. It's about an hour's easy drive from Lisbon airport, although the turn-off to their side road is a bit difficult to spot at night, and we had to make a U-turn to get to it. The "service entrance" is actually easier to find and works just as well, delivering you to the front entrance after passing the staff quarters and parking. The staff, by the way, were wonderful, quick to respond to every request and very polite...

You feel the history of the place as soon as you walk in. I could not believe some of the amazing frescos on the walls! The staff are extremely competent and welcoming and the pousada is itself a very interesting place to visit. The pool is peaceful and pleasant, it is located next to the main attraction in town and there are quite a few good restaurants nearby as well.

Lovely rural property with a five minute drive to the nearest beach. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a fairly basic menu but everything I ordered was tasty and great value. Highly recommended for a calm and quiet stay.
